You lucky sod. Came apart nicely. Just had my cases back from vapour blasting. 40 years later and they look brand new. Crank off to be rephased to 277 and 750 big bore barrels on their way. Plus a load of other stuff that will make my project totally uneconomic. Good luck Brodie

Great Vid Brodie! The idea of disassembling my engine makes me nervous, but your vids are well detailed, I hope they only get more detailed when you are inspecting and identifying issues and what needs to be replaced/fixed. I suppose the episode when you put it all back together is when you will bust out the torque wrench, lol. Keep these videos coming, they are fantastic!!... I am just working on getting heat in my garage, then I will be starting as a super novice at removing and learning about my bikes. I will be referencing your videos over and over again I am sure, among other resources. Well done man, looking forward to the next episodes!!

When I removed the gear clusters a loose ball bearing fell on the floor… the gear clusters look in great shape and the bearings are sealed. Any idea where this could be from? Its my first time disassembling and engine. Thanks
@2wheelworkshop
@2wheelworkshop 2 жыл бұрын
Could be the ball bearing for the clutch push rod. It may have been left idown the center of the shaft if you didn't remove it earlier.

I removed the e clip and washer on the selector shaft and then disengaged the selector claw, but the shifter assembly won’t come out. It’s as if there’s something blocking it although there is a small range of motion. Any suggestions of what to do? Thank you

Was this the first time you had separated the cases? I’m having a hell of a time getting mine apart.
