Hello you have done a great job with the casting but I was surprised that you had not splayed the carbs to clear the frame. Why a MK1 and is it the 32mm. Why not with your skills use a MK2 Amal much better carb. I have raced British bikes for year's and the 30mm does not flow much air for its size.

Shorten up that intake an you will get better performance an response I did the same thing years ago on a triumph Bonneville 650 years ago an it doesn't stick out so far ..

Good idea for performance . Put less carb on , save weight . Should go faster.Did I miss something?Oh, and dont right angle inlets improve air flow? This is a dumb concept.
