Tosha and Tamika were the voices of excape. They have the soulful powerful voices. Candi was a deep voice but Tboz was the same way. No way in hell is candi a solo artist. However, Excape was the shit and u knew their songs when Candi starts and Tosha backs her up and runs all over the song leaving their signature.

Deandre Stevens En Vogue has performed countless times live and accapella, in fact!, Destiny's Child modeled their group from En Vogue, they have more hits, sold more records, and the industry greats all recognize them for their talent. kandi and Tiny never sung in the church, only the Scott sisters, ALL of En Vogue started out in church. En Vogue is more internationally known for their vocal prowess, so I'll take that recognition over some random youtuber's coment who makes zero sense. You can have a seat too! several!

They can sing their azzez off in individual parts, but they don't sound that good singing a whole song alone. They definitely need Tiny and Kandi, despite Latocha having the best voice.

Unpopular opinion, the Scott sisters have amazing voices and they sound great but they need Kandi’s low tone and the Tiny’s alto for the harmony’s. I enjoyed this but prefer the originals maybe because they sang the 2 songs that Tiny and Kandi usually lead on.

I hate to say it, but they will never be as good as they were when they were a group. Of course they have nice voices, but they lack stage presence and can barely perform that well live in front of an audience. Even if they were to reunite as of now, I honestly feel that the group will never be the same. I don't think that this was a good performance but they did try.

cynthia bates not true. You mean the last album? Kandi did most of the leads on the majority of their songs. Regardless, they are off...Tocha is is off key, very pitchy, singing too strong (she’s singing like a rapper raps, instead of like a beautiful singer), and it sounds so technically wrong. Her voice is amazing, but I think she works too hard to show off instead of singing properly.

cynthia bates she’s so not the voice of the group...she’s the one messing up all the time. She led most of the songs on the last album...Kandi was the leader, and they said JD wanted her to be marketed that way in the beginning. Don’t take my word for it; they all said it also! Tocha has the best voice in the group, but the best singer in the group is actually Tamika. Singing in a group is not about who is the loudest; it’s about everyone doing their part. Notice when harmonizing you can’t hear everyone else, but you can often hear Tocha...that’s a bad thing, not good. And here, she sounds horrible. Any professional music director would write red ink all over this performance, and her other live performances as well. I don’t disagree with you Latocha has the best “voice” in the group...her voice is amazing. But, she needs a vocal coach. She’s kinda like Tamar Braxton with an amazing voice, but bad sound when singing solo and live. It’s just coaching she needs...i don’t dispute her natural talent.
