Opening in 2003, Top Thrill Dragster turned heads by shattering the 400 ft height mark, also becoming the fastest roller coaster in the world at 120 mph. This was a record breaking coaster at epic proportions. Dragster continued to thrill guests for about 18 years until a tragic accident shut down the coaster. 3 years later, the ride was reimagined, reborn as Top Thrill 2.

I won't ride it for a long time being that I'm now on the west coast but even if I wasn't I'd say they need to get the loose article policy sorted out, and it doesn't seem worth riding with the current policy. If you ask me it seems like they put whatever schmuck made the locker policy at Great Adventure (in my opinion, the worst loose article policy in the world. Putting it over this even because the only good ride it doesn't effect at Great Adventure is Nitro) in charge of Top Thrill 2 post merger.

This felt like a list designed to pick 2 over dragster. Forced paying for a locker is an automatic -10 points. The launch on dragster was better than everything 2 added.

Original Dragster is much better. TT2 is underwhelming and alright at best.

@XscreamThrills OK, hear me out. Dragster was my favorite coaster of all time by far and the reason I liked it was because of its launch and theme. My favorite coasters are primarily Intamin accelerators because of their insane launches. That's what I like best in coasters. Since this was a redo, it's hard for me to not compare it to the original. Now, if this was a brand new ride built from scratch somewhere else, I might rate it slightly better.
