You know, I think it would have been sick for lil dark to get a super long mini-wave, so he can curse henry/croakley from afar. It'd be super niche, but I'd be all for it! His attack power + mini wave is too low to really worry about chipping most enemies, combined with its low range so it won't be too sustainable. I'd have loved seeing a super long mini wave stretching across the map to curse a croakly or henry!

I also just think a lot of early Battle Cats has stuck with me and I just enjoy units that can somehow serve a random niche at random moments, surprisingly Lil Jammy was my only shield breaker (aku shield) but he definitely acted like he had a near 100% shield breaking chance for the time I used him. Sometimes meta is boring and I wanna see my fella throw a punch or two ig lol

Kinda off topic, but I wish Ponos did something new with Normal Cats. They can't be used in 4c stages, and nowadays are all but outclassed by anything else we'd use, even though it might take you years to get them to +90. Maybe with some talents or an Ultraforms we could see something really cool with them and somehow reviving their usage. I personally haven't used a Normal cat other than Eraser or Superfeline outside of certain restrictions in ages. How about something like this: Mohawk Cat gets 50% Survivor. Eraser gets immunity to a few debuffs that would block him from advancing, like Warp or Knockback. Dark gets x3 stats or some other cracked shit to make a Dark variant finally worth something. It loses it's target against Red, but becomes a pretty cool generalist fighter, maybe balanced by increasing it's cost to 450 or something. (Or maybe just give him 1 frame curse for the lols, idk). Macho gets a new trait like Angel or Relic and 50% weaken (+ Curse immunity if Relic is chosen). Lion gets something like Z Killer and 10% Savage blow plus Resist against Zombie and Black. Flying gets Curse and either Strong against a few traits, or Long Range, as well as Double Bounty. Island just gets a stat buff. Probably an increase in Crit chance too. Dragon gets area attack and Behemoth Slayer. Jamiera gets Immunity to all debuffs, 100% Strenthen at 50% HP and either a stat buff or a cost decrease. Superfeline gets 100% Survivor, immunity to weaken and a 100% Strenghen at 1% HP.

nah, i dont know man, there are some strat that use double dragon to deal tons of damage on bosses or bulky enemies by stacking them, making dragon have aoe may seem a bit to op casue the range and dame they do will be insanely high

If they gave bw lion any other ability other than curse it mightve been actually pretty ok in some cases. Instead they give him curse to literally the 2 worst enemies to curse. Blacks have like practically 0 ccs, and akus have shields.

brainwashed dark cat looks cool, the mini-wave is cool, being able to curse your enemies with an army of these spammable and menacing looking cats is cool. honestly, the biggest problem with making a spammable attacker cost 300$ is that cant really be given good stats or it would be OP. spammable attackers with GOOD stats are usually at least 700$. but the fact it costs a miniscule 300$ and is spammable, it has to have lower hp and damage output individually compared to more expensive options that are slower recharging. but because of its individual stats being bad, it makes them just not feel very powerful, because they NEED to be stacked up to do some damage, but their health is not nearly enough to survive long enough to actually be stacked. truly a tragedy among the modern battle cats era. (even regular dark cat and manic dark cat look really cool but are all just the same.)

I was looking for brainwashed cat content since I got one and it seemed rare since I had never heard of them. Turns out I got the best possible one. I’m in the very early game though soooooooo, no true forms however, that brainwashed gross cat even better since I’ve actually encountered only like, traitless, alien, red, zombie, and black. Plus a tiny bit of angel. Brainwashed gross seems to be the best brainwashed(according to the video), and the best at my stage right now too! I got very carried away, OH MY GOSH

i think the logic was like: b. dark has no notable targets and is pretty much objectively useless b. lion is barely usable vs mamon and also is decent for speedrunning easy stages (around the same as manic lion, just trades area attck for more bulk) so b. lion just seems objectively better

Triple eraser usually would just be redundant, since if the enemy is still pushing with 2 erasers 3 probably won’t do anything (most enemies have area attack yknow) a specialized meatshield would be necessary in this case
