Amazing Eurocopter EC135 flight display - Germany Air Force

It´s time for the next aviation video. Today about a German Air Force (Bundeswehr) Eurocopter EC135 during a flight display at Gelnhausen Air Show.
The Eurocopter EC135 (now Airbus Helicopters H135) is a twin-engine helicopter. It is capable of flight under instrument flight rules (IFR) and is outfitted with a digital automatic flight control system (AFCS). First flying was on 15 February 1994. It entered service in 1996. More than 1,300 helicopters have been delivered up to now to 300 operators in 60 countries, accumulating over 4.5 million flight hours.

In fact it is our EC135 T1 model used at the International Helicopter Training Center in Bückeburg. So no Air Force...instead Army Aviation ;)

No, this is the EC135 T1 model using Turbomeca Arrius Engines with max 670hp ;)

Not amazing, it only hovered, stall-turned and generally messed about. No loops or rolls. Even a Robinson 200 or Enstrom Shark can do that!

Never heard of a Robinson 200 and the 135 can't make loops or rolls. You want to mutch of a regulair helicopter. Just watch the Redbull page of the Blou Eagles. They make rolls and loops.

EC135 - the helicopter you are not allowed to train autorotations. 🤣🤣🤣

Not true. Most autorotation training (especially in twins) is not done to the deck. A recover to hover is done instead. This is to reduce unnecessary stress on the airframe - especially with a training aircraft. Pilots also would do aircraft specific autos to be type rated.

If you want to do acrobatics with Bo105 or H135 you have to be better then the best helicopter pilots. According to wiki, there are only four helicopter pilots on the whole world who can perform aerobatics in a helicopter.

It´s not about skills. It´s a display of the helicopter. If you want to see skills, search after HSG64 videos or Christoph videos. ;)
