Metal Slug 6 Final Mission (Level 8, Eri)

Difficulty: Level 8. No cheats used.
Oh kay. For some reason, even after I did this mission as Tarma, it's more nerve wrecking and harder as Eri. I even play identical to Tarma, with the only real differences being in the boss fights. Although, me playing as Tarma, I didn't need to care about the final boss because "lol Tarma in a Slug". But as Eri, I found that there were a LOT of attacks I didn't know how to dodge, and it involved re-planning my strategy against the final boss. So hopefully this video makes up for the severe lack of technicality present in my Tarma run of this mission. Although, I was too nervous at the boss fight, resulting in me being unable to hit any of my Cannons I had saved for the second phase.
I swear, I don't know why it's so much harder as Eri. It should be easier as her. But my heart was thumping well after I was processing the video from the recording.

Para sacar este final, debes ir por la ruta alternativa de la anterior mision a la final, cuando estas en el puente que se destruye, antes que colapse completamente, debes ir agachado por la parte de abajo del mapa, y cas por otra ruta, pero esta vez tu Tanque es ROOT MARS y puedes usar todos sus ataques (menos las bolitas verdes)

I quite like MS6's version of "Final Attack". Sure, it's a radical departure from the normal ones, but it has really amazing progression, from creepy and sinister to mildly mystifying, leading to a familiar tune from the old Final Attacks in a kamikaze like feeling to it. Pretty impressive when you consider the track has to loop. Slug Digger path is fun for me, but I agree, it does kill the pace of the mission. But hey, it's the ONE stage in the game where Tarma has the undisputed advantage :D

De hecho el final depende del camino q tomes en la penúltima mision, en la parte del puente cuando se rompe si vas por abajo desbloquearas este final y si vas por arriba (como todos lo hicimos xD) sacaras el final en el q te rescata Morden.

Few things about this game that I hate: -Venusians: ALL VARIANTS OF THEM ARE BULLET SPONGES. I hate it, it drags the game on for too long. Kinda like any mummy or zombie variant but the fact that they are pretty agile while being very durable for regular enemies is annoying. -The Final Stage: Clearly, it tries SO HARD to imitate Metal Slug 3's final mission(in fact, it's actually around the same length). But ya' know what made MS3's final mission so good? Pacing. It kept throwing new stuff at you. This final mission does throw a lot of stuff at you but it's mostly "walk a few meters, STOP, fight these REALLY TANKY ENEMIES IN QUICK SUCCESSION." I did not like the digging sequence, it's slower than the rappling segment in MS4's final. With that said though, while it's not a bad game. It's sure has a pretty awful design decisions. It's not BS like MS5, and it's bland and simple as MS4, it kinda sits in the middle for me.
