Will this fit to an Europe 2016 xsr900 headlight and brackets stock?

I have the woodcraft lowered handlebar AND a dart marlin windscreen - will the relocated gauge fit inside the windscreen? Seems like it would be a bit tight to not fitting at all. TIA

The relocation kit should fit just fine with that setup. Woodcrafts clear and it fits with the Dart Classic/Piranha.

One thing about this modification that I don't like is that the stock handlebar clamps have mounts for the gauge bracket, and when the bracket is removed, these mounts look pretty ugly. So much for "cleaning up" the handlebars. Is there a simple, reasonably cheap but good quality handlebar clamp that will replace the stock one?

We've heard of people using the left hole for a Ram mount. New risers from Rizoma or Renthal would absolutely work, totally personal preference though.

Hi just checking.. is it compatible to woodcraft handlebar? Thanks

Yes, it is

Have I missed something...what about the 2 washers included in the set?
@motodemic4 жыл бұрын
Those are only used if you are installing the 7-inch Headlight Conversion and are used to take up the space that the stock headlight bracket support leaves. 👍

This might sound like a strange question. But do you think it would be possible to swap the fz09 gauge with the xsr900 gauge? I understand the mileage won't be accurate but I'm not too worried as the fz09 I'm looking at is a brand new model. They both have abs and I think the same rider modes. The gauge brackets even look like they mount the same way. I just like the round gauge better than the long angular one.

It would probably work since the new models are so similar.

Simple question since you didn't mention it during install. Will this work with your Motodemic Clubman bars for the XSR900? I'm thinking about getting the 1" maybe 1.5" risers and using in the down position. Will it cause any issues? Thank you and really dig your products!

The Gauge Relocation Kit should be compatible with the Yamaha Clubman bars but we have not tested fitment. It could very well be straightforward and work no problem, but you may also have to fiddle with cable routing (as with any aftermarket bars). If you are referring to the Woodcraft Clip-On Adapter we offer on our site, then yes, they are compatible.

Can you make a Gauge Relocation Kit that sits the Gauge square in the middle as opposed to off to the right side? Or does that interfere with the Key and the Ignition?
@motodemic6 жыл бұрын
Thelby1 that would block access to the ignition.

After I saw where the key and ignition is located I thought it would, oh well! Thanks a Bunch! Merry Christmas!!

Is the headlight adapter kit absolutely necessary for this mod to work? Seen you guys on Facebook. Didn't know you had a channel, so... subbed!
@motodemic7 жыл бұрын
InvictvsNox no, this relocation kit works with stock headlight brackets, our headlights brackets, and our headlight conversion. 👍

doesnt work with the original flyscreen or does it?😐
@motodemic7 жыл бұрын
Mathias Söder yes, works with the Yamaha accessory flyscreen.

I prefer the original manufacturer's specifications over this. seems like a bit of a waste of money to me, just to move something off the bars and loose the oem headlight bracket. which is a bit of a shame.

adrian mulvey to each their own. Many people don't like how the stock location sticks out like a sore thumb. This kit streamlines the bike without effecting visibility. By the way, it works with the stock headlight brackets.
@zell666hell7 жыл бұрын
I think the original brackets look way better.

why is not compatible with the euro model??? are u going to solve it?
@motodemic7 жыл бұрын
Yamaha installed an immobilizer ignition on every XSR model sold outside of north America. This ignition is much larger and since the kit was developed on a North American XSR900, it does not it. We have developed the correct bracket and it is available to order. motodemic.com/shop/xsr900-gauge-relocation-kit/
