Best long term review I have ever seen. Like the voice over silence and played sound of bike for exhaust. Good daily drive in city conditions is a real world test of how good a bike rides. Agree with all your cons and basically entire video - been riding since 1988. Wonderful editing too. A joy to watch.

20,000 km on mine with 0 issues so far. Love the bike! I do find that the B mode helps with jerky throttle and in traffic. Also just got YSS cartridge kit + rear shock put in as the stock suspension was really rough on poor quality roads at higher speeds, I found. Was thinking of getting another bike, but realized that there is no bike that I really want over this and that switching will not get me a better bike, just a different bike. Xsr900 is awesome!
@giraumoto4 жыл бұрын
I no I said it in the review but I couldn’t understate it the exhaust make the throttle soooooooo much smoother. It’s literally a game changer I was thinking about trading it in for a different bike also. But now that it rides the way it should. I never want to get rid of it. Trust me it makes that much of a difference. Sorry for the late response

@@giraumoto I have 2018 and have put 3k on it in the year so far. You hit the nail on the head with this review. Fuel capacity is my only big con and even then only if I'm in the mountains being paranoid. Mike, you wouldn't be disappointed with the 900 at all. The customization possibilities are great and you can make it what you want. It's best suited for the city and trips to the twisties in my opinion. @@giraumoto very welcome, it’s a lovely bike, in a class of its own really :) Also wanted to mention that treating it once a year with anti corrosion spray won’t be enough if you ride it daily throughout the winter... I spray mine after every 4-5 washes ... ACF50 the big bottle that comes with a little spray bottle will Easily last you a year , maybe a bit longer Not bad for about 50$ ... :)

@@giraumoto sorry about that, I'm just fond of using the metric sys. Low case "m" is meters and high case "M" is miles for me. Anyways, great vid.

I cant get over the looks of this bike I know it gets great reviews but it just looks like an RD 350LC from donkeys years ago, and the tank looks too high somehow - spoiling the lines.

I get what your saying about the lines, the 60th anniversary with the painted tank is alittle easier on the eye. But if you wanted a raw platform to make your own the silver is the one

To be completely honest , the bike looks much better in real life then on any photo or video
