I have the red version and the turn blinkers are not bright enough.. when the car is in direct sunlight the blinkers can hardly be seen. I think it is easier to notice blinkers with the blackline style

Plug and play yes. As for rear fog, you’ll still need to code and “make” the button if you have a U.S version.

Looks amazing! Just installed mine today. Have you experienced any hyper flashing at all? My right side blinker would do it randomly. Reconfigured the wiring and waiting to see if that fixed it

Yo! I'm stuck between the red and smoked. It'll be going on a black 435i GC. Do you find the smoke to be too dark, or is it the perfect amount of smoke? I kinda wish they did a clear lens black line. I saw some chatter about the turn signals being too dim in the daylight/sunlight with the smoked version, any opinion on this?

Hey! I personally think the black looks best on white or black cars. And red for all other colors. But that’s just my opinion I would say the turn signals are a tad slightly dim on the smoked version, but only in direct sunlight. Hope this helps.

I got a question regarding that wire that goes through the small hole. Around 10:45, you cut that piece off. I have been using it through that hole without cutting the piece off. Do you think I should cut it off? Just not sure if I caused any damage to the wire itself since I got it on days ago, but I definitely want it to sit flush.

I don’t believe you’ll cause any damage.. I know some people that did the same thing and were able to manage to get it through the hole and still be flushed. But some people said they struggled too much with it. I just decided to cut it off and skip any possible struggles for it to sit flush 👍🏼

@@Just1MoreMod Gotcha. One more question if you don’t mind, I have my lights on auto and it seems the dragon scale aren’t on during the day. Is this something I’d have to change through BimmerCode or does yours stay on when on auto?

Tough to answer, as before, I put these tail lights on, I had already coded my original tail lights to be on daytime running lights. so when these were installed, they were just automatically always on. I would say go ahead and try coding it through BimmerCode. It’s very simple and quick to do.

Hey, great question. Zero issues with the daytime running/brake lights. In super super bright direct sunny days, the amber turn signals can appear to be a tad dimmer. But the red is bright 👍🏼

I got them in and really struggling to get the smaller light on the right side locked in to the trunk lid! Any tips? I do recall having a slightly harder time with one of the four pieces (don’t recall which side, as it’s been a while) I remember as I was tightening it down, the clip/hook would pop back out. Try loosening more, make it as straight as possible and keep an eye on it as you tighten it down and make sure it clips. The phone mount was something I custom made with a Kuda mount.
