7:35 - I wish you had said "Whatever you do, don't put the connector on the end of the two wires before passing through the hole because the hole is too small for it." I had to bore out the holes and add some touch-up paint on both sides from that error.

Not really a fan of these lights but I LOVE the way you put these videos together - every question I'd have is covered, the looks at the clips and etc that come off are super helpful. 340i F31 in Estoril Blue... I'd have the red ones despite having a blue and black theme everywhere else!

I agree with everything you’ve done said with the colour review except for the blue. I definitely think the black line looks better on the blue as it makes the car look more aggressive with all the mods you already have.

I’ve been watching this video for a while and finally pulled the trigger and got the black line for my silver 2017 340i xDrive 6-speed. I gotta say, I think Brian rigged those lights to go in that easy. Now, I did get the V2 but it was quite a pain in the bum to get them in the trunk lid.

Thanks I was just wondering how it would look I have a 320i mineral gray lci also and I bought the blacline and they just came in . Question. The wire that Brian was talking about comes pre set up in the v2 is it safe to assume it still doesn’t need to be plugged in?

The lights look great! I was under the impression that you still need to use the wire to connect the lights on the body to the lights on the trunk on LCI cars. I saw this on another video. Using the wire powers the brake light on the trunk light. Otherwise the brake light on trunk light doesn't illuminate when the brake pedal is depressed.

Hmm the M4 GTS has no inner brake light only the outers light up At 13:09 the pre-lci car does not light up any inner brake either The oem brake lights lci and pre-lci have the inner brake lights powered by the oem plug, I’m assuming for the pre-lci this cable is only for the turn signals since the pre-lci didn’t have them in the inner lights so the oem harness didn’t include a cable for it.

I have a black F80 and I‘m getting the red ones, you lose the shape of the back lights with the transparent ones, at least that’s what I think. I also think the transparent ones looks better on the blue one, personal preference I guess 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think the simple LCI lights are way good enough already without this "too-much" effect. And I'd go for them but for the moment I like to stay at factory setup that will keep my car at its original looks (pre-LCI model).

Yeah, the taillights that BMW makes from the factory are simply fantastic. I like these but I don't think I'd make the change. (pre-LCI)

IMO, pre-LCI taillights looks extremely dated. They all look like they where designed in the same era as the E90. I got an LCI, but got to tempted to buy these GTS lights so I bought them lol.

was researching these a while back, there are several F80 version made in china. the manufactures for these mentioned that they cannot copy the F82 OLED designs without getting into legal issues. whereas the F80 models OLEDS do not exists, hence these are their proprietary designs and can produce these without legal problems.

Brian, should both the lenses be flush with each other. The section on the trunk is actually protruding out farther then the light section on the body. I thought I saw some adjustment wheels on the lights on the body.

And I say the rear diffuser make a big difference in the rear. SMH these are sick. Wow gts rear light looks amazing. This would be my next mod diffently the smoke black on a white color car looks good. This is just subjective to what I think. But if I where to get the red I'll get a light tint black wrap though. Just the comment section here shows a crazy amount of demand for a version to fit the 4 series. Why has nobody produced even an LCI upgrade for the 4 series? I would buy these in a heartbeat for my F36.
