I have resigned myself to VR only now as I enjoy it more, back up to a high A so would love to think I'd see you in a lobby sometime but I think it's very difficult to compete at that level in VR. Every car and view is different.. As Steve said your technique is exceptionally smooth, keep up the good work 👍

Just wanted to shout out the way you wove the narrative of the race through out the video. The different perspectives of the drivers combined with the clear commentary to explain what was happening on screen really heightened the intensity and excitement of the race. Very cool video. I raced C.Lopez twice in my GT career. I shared a replay when it was Gr1 Interlagos. The guy won the race from pretty much last. And overtook me like a boss.

This is the kind of respectful racing I want to see in C and B lobbies. I know it’s a pipe dream and it’ll never happen, but it was fun to see the style of racing I want to be involved in. All racers here were all about the race itself and not ramming each other to gain a position that means nothing. This is racing. This is Gran Turismo. This is PlayStation.

Mate, as a karting content creator I can imagine the amount of hours you’ve put into making the video. Fantastic coverage of a great race! You should know the timing boxes are not in front of the car (of this I'm certain irl and in GT7) but I believe at the wheel (irl this varies from organizations but if I remember correctly from my testing it is located there in GT7). Cheers

That was fantastic! I have only ever had 1 race like that where it was hard racing, but clean between myself and another player. It was Miatas at Tsukuba. We swapped 1-2 so many times! In the end I unfortunately lost in a similar fashion as this race, but it was SUPER close! That race kept me interested...and then the rules changes and the tanking of ratings forcing lower lobby racing where it was near impossible to regain your ratings...I finally had enough and stopped playing.

I ran a 1:30.3 in a race last night here on softs and it's giving me motivation to hop and keep improving seeing how these guys are running similar times. Their consistent pace if ridiculous though

That is why I enjoy GT7. I mean, Icould only dream of having the kind of ability those 3 drivers displayed here. Epic! I ride off road dirt bikes too, and while I am by no means a fast rider, the best bit for me is the close racing with my mates or peers.

These guys managed go concentrate for 30 laps, very minimal differnece between lap times. Few tenths of a second, considering tyre wear etc. Thats absolute insanity to keep such consistency especially under pressure. Meanwhile i do a few laps and then go off to do a bit of lawn mowing or moto mashing

absolutely loved this race. I never knew GT racing between the pros were so close from beginning to end. I was impressed with their car control on every single lap. One thing I didn’t understand was how did the driver of the yellow car kept control of the car with the tires pretty worn out?

Really enjoyed this video, the racing dynamics were impressive and it's cool to see two champions go head-to-head. That said, I can't help but feel that the hype around Gran Turismo sometimes overshadows other racing sims that might offer a more realistic experience. Just a thought!

With people driving that constant and neat you can just as easily make the race 8 laps with a pit stop 😂. Damn, imagine every lobby filled with people driving as respectful as this, then the game would be fun to play again.
