Yes, very true. Its a weird one as this strategy will tend to work better against slightly better players. If you defend against lower rated players, they might not really understand what it is you're trying to achieve and may give you a ticket to the shadow realm.

No need to get a csl dd first though. Only did it because I've stopped street racing my irl car and got out of the car modding scene and a friend had a v2.5 for about 4 years that he battered and was still kicking. I don't know if it's because I'm using a controller versus a driving rig, but this track was tremendously difficult to successfully attain all gold sectors in the Circuit Experience. Maybe also because I haven't raced it alot so didn't have a great deal of experience on this track but it literally took me about 5 days to shave off all the time I needed for my last gold sector. My wife saw my thumbs and was concerned for my health ^_^
@pixelcultmedia42522 жыл бұрын
For me to gold this track on a controller, I had to tap the hand brake button to help the car rotate correctly since it used to be very difficult to trigger a weight shift on the controller.
@Theyassinovic922 жыл бұрын
I played with a controller for months because I wasn't able to play with my wheel for some reason. Suzuka, this curcuit and Fuji have really long corners, and with a controller is really hard because you can't put the car where you want, since it's just a stick and it's difficult to be precise. I was holding my DR on A with a controller and I didn't have a problem with other curcuits. But yeah, now I hate those 3 curcuits because of it even if i'm using a wheel 🤣

At the end it seems that your opponent took to the outside and made an attempt to catch a bit of air off your bumper when you changed lanes without looking not so much to defend the pass but to get a little more on the outside, causing the contact, resulting in the spin out. Or so it seemed.

Great vid as always, question though... Regarding the last incident, if we took away the deliberate turning right sideswipe, does that person have any reason to give you the racing line. Technically you're leading the race but I'm just wondering from a racing rules point of view, do they have to let you move over or is it a case of you should move over before someone is there
@khimaros2 жыл бұрын
That guy could have held Super GT all the way over to the right into turn one, but normally if you’re on the outside you’d want to swing as far to the left as you can just before corner entry to give yourself the better line. Which naturally opens the space for the guy on the inside to move over a bit and get a better line the,selves. Check out Vettel vs Webber at Turkey F1 for a great example of what happens when the inside car tries to take a wider line and the outside car is not going to give you that space… 😉👍
