These are great for real emergencies. I have 200+ 18650s. We just got trashed in Pinellas county from the hurricane. Now there's another one on the way. Without these power banks all I had was flashlights and lanterns. These allow the juice to be transferred to nearly anything that has fixed rechargeable batteries

Hej Todderbert thanks for the review the Xtar PB2SL seams very nice and love the battery door for easy access to the batteries a, very nice feature in powerbank and i wish more powerbanks had this feature so yes this powerbank is on my buy list take care Todderbert and have a nice day.

You have to be careful while outputting via usb-c because if the device works as a powerbank, like some flashlights, it will charge the XTAR instead of charge the flashlight or whatever the powerbank device is I love this though, because i can carry one hundred 21700 batteries and just keep swapping batteries the whole camping trip Also if a cell dies, its not landfull garbage, just need to recycle the cell and get a new one, in theroy at least, we will see how much abuse i can put it through before it breaks, if it breaks easy then its as bad as a normal power bank because you will have to toss it

Hi, I'm doing some research about this brand and model. I read that some people had issues with coil whine thus stopped using it. How is it going for you, 6 months on? Are you getting any coil whine? Is it still working as advertised?

No coil whine on mine, though I don't use it everyday. Probably once every few weeks.
