Holy smokes, This song is great! I listened to "Say It" And its a great one too. Now I can see where XTC were going musically. Having heard these I can say I actually wish they'd reform and make an album with songs of such caliper! I know that's what they wanted to do too, Too bad writer's block got them :/

For some reason it feels almost as if I know Andy Partridge (Somewhat) and we've never met face-to-face as of this writing, At least - Though I did ask him questions over Twitter to which he responded. Considering I've listened to a lot of XTC songs it's like I was observing a documentary of much of his life, Colin too as well as Barry and Dave and Terry.
@xnonsuchx13 жыл бұрын
@101Volts - Colin is the one who said he at least wanted to take a break or something (I don't think he totally ruled things out). Andy didn't feel it appropriate to do anything under the XTC name if it was just him, but he's always writing stuff and recording demos. He DID mention maybe another solo album, though.

@shrew972 Well, Whatever the reason was. I had the impression they raised the bar for quality so high that they couldn't meet the quality they wanted to achieve. I also read something along those lines in a quote from Colin, If it was a real quote that is. I can't remember which forum I read those comments on so take it for what you will. (Maybe Colin talked about the break up in his 2 hour interview in 2008)
