my first heavy show (Living Sacrifice) was a Christian hardcore/metallic hardcore show as I was going to a Christian school at the time. I started out by getting in to bands like Green Day, Metallica, Alice In Chains, etc. at a young age. then I got into stuff like MxPx, NOFX, and eventually Hatebreed's first album, which was a huge game hanger. Next came Living Sacrifice and Zao...and then I was sold on metal forevermore 🤘 Great vid!

not a lot of bands were brave enough to release an album full of breakdowns at the time. i'm talking non-stop heavy. their album horror is so dark its almost unsettling. i highly recommend it if you're a fan of old school deathcore. thanks for another sick video.

@@xtheyan I completely hear that! It's really nice and refreshing to have some awesome, super heavy music, that isn't just insanely anti religious. As a not over the top Christian, I can still enjoy other bands, but there are some tasteful ways to approach it, without being over the top too. I also couldn't agree more with your comments about Infant Annihilator. I get it in a way, and they were very inspirational for a lot of people, but it really is just too much for me.

Christian metal gets a bad rap and a lot of people. Don't give it a fair chance, either. Christians stick their nose up at it or metal heads. Just assume it's gonna be uncool. And boring or corny. The truth is, there are a lot of really great Christian metal act that not only are technically proficient. Have a good sound and a great live show. But also spread the word of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ in their music without it being uncomfortable or 2 over the top for those that. Are unfamiliar with the word of God..
