Make up what? All those replacements were pre existing hot wheels. And they were aware of this going into the game, they made the deliberate choice to not use the rlc’s as it would’ve delayed them. Also note they intentionally made every acceleracer an original car to avoid this and to allow them to actually all be unique cars.

And the reason why wild thing was replaced was because it was three wheeled, and terrible on the track, as were a few others, which is also why the acceleracers were all meant to be track ready, and why they didn’t sell the motorcycles, that and rd-07 was complicated

What a fantastic classic this is, to this day, world race is the best hot wheels racing game ever. The gameplay and vehicle handling is absolutely top-notch, a great example of a very solid arcade racing game with fun racing and great physics, nothing else really comes close. I would kill for another racing game with gameplay and handling physics like this. Caged element, the creator of GRIP, would be a good team to develop a hot wheels racing game in the same vein as this, as the racing in GRIP was solid. Highly recommended for PC!!!

the boost stat determined how long the car remained at max speed. but it was virtually useless because you would always save nitrox to use on ramps and not use it freely.
