Thanks for all that work/testing enjoyed it. I was surprised they had you solder the choke curcuit instead of decking the seat height to get it to seal; so then the choke could be used. Again, thanks for it all.

Still cool that ppl are trying to make new things anyways. Maybe they'll have all the kinks worked out b4 all bikes are fuel injected.. but probably not... metered carbs definitely have a place in the 2 stroke world. It's not all about max hp. I think the power delivery of metered carbs can be beneficial for some, especially on 250s and up.

Keihin PWK properly jetted works great for my three bikes here in Colorado Springs. From 6000-12,000, I never touch em.

Hi tom, we always have news, recently I was testing the new carburetor that will be sent to you, this time just to be sure, I had to test the carburetor myself, so far so good.I don't know if you have returned to the studio from Hawaii, if so I will mail you a new carburetor in two days.I researched the problem you were having and once again found what the problem was because the fuel triangular needle was too heavy and the fuel float at rest would allow it to seal the fuel and once on rough roads the fuel would load and that's The reason you encountered. Sorry for such a bad experience, I have re-customized the fuel needle valve and seat and I will be mailing it to you with the new carburetor.The test results show that no matter how bumpy it is, the horizontal position of the fuel remains unchanged, and the results are quite satisfactory.

Bro my xtng cant be tuned at high rpm, always lean while it burn sparks. I dont even know what should I do anymore

I think some carbs don't like some bikes. On my 2018 TX300 my TMX never really had issues once the seal was fixed...but I tried a smart carb, it would never work. Bogged, died, ran lean - never could get it to work. put the TMX back on ran fine, SC on it sucked. At least SC took it back.

Yup. I installed a smartcarb on a yz250 one of my friends owns. Ran perfectly. Could not say the same about a ktm exc 250. Almost like they rejected each other

if it's loading up on the small end what happens if you lean it out down there.

Hangs up. It’s not a jet issue. It’s leaking somewhere. I’ve adjusted the float like crazy and it doesn’t fix it. Still inconsistent loading

Strange how inconsistent it is, other than it consistently loads up now and then. Maybe a quality control issue with the needle valve? It's behavior reminds me a little of the stock Mikuni with a failing but not totally smoked jet block gasket. At least we know how to fix the Mikuni 😆

Thats a bummer. It would be nice to have a cost effect alternative to SC and Lectron. Maybe Xting, will pull that one apart and figure it out and revise the design........... But as soon as you started it up I thought to myself "man that sounds soft......" And right before you said "let switch down to second gear" I was thinking "sounds like its loading up"........... Bummer, Hopefully Xting will figure it out and fix it.............

I see some carbs with clear bowls. Any benefits to it ? If so is there any available for the Pwk?

Not really. The biggest thing is being able to tell if there is gas in the bowl without opening anything but I wouldn’t spend extra money.

I think the Boysen windowed fiberglass reeds would fix that real low-rpm richness. Don’t be one of those folks that one engine mod doesn’t work but won’t try complimenting that mod with anything else. Whatever, you don’t read comments. So, to the wind goes a helpful comment

Hahahah. I read comments. There is no reason to spend money on a carb if it makes you have to spend more money to fix its problem. That makes no sense. This bike was brilliant with a well setup mikuni and got easily better with a Kehin. And reeds won’t fix a bike that is clearly leaking raw gas when you get into rough stuff.
