xTool M1 Laser Cutter Setup Tutorial

This was really helpful! Thank you for this. I have some laser cutter experience, but was lost with the cutter as I didn't have one until now. Also, that 'refresh' button where it shows where the M1 is connected, I did not know that it refreshed the view of the cutting area! I can't wait to start making things with this machine! (I also subscribed :) )

Your video was so helpful. Glad I found it. Just wondering when cutting leather with the blade did you use the 60 or the 45 blade? I read somewhere to possibly use the 45 for paper/vinyl etc and use the 60 for thicker material eg leather.

@@joeast8223 I’m so glad you found this video helpful!! I used the default blade that came with my M1, which I believe is the 45 - I don’t even think they made a 60 blade when I made this video! The 45 cut through the Xtool leather just fine anyway!!

My creative space doesnt have the refresh button for the camera. Do you know why that is and how I fix it?

You should see the option as soon as you connect your machine. Double check that you have the right machine selected - Not all XTool machines have the camera built-in. If you have the correct machine with a camera selected and still aren't seeing refresh, perhaps try restarting the program?

Are you trying to use the blade to cut paper? If so, have you installed the blade as shown and tried the paper cut settings?
