Very talented! From Photography to wood working :) How deep (how many mm?) the S1 can engrave into plywood/hard wood, and which head you recommend? Infrared 2W or 40W? thank you.

Infrared will not Marc the wood. Infrared is only for metal and plastic. The 40w laser head will engrave pretty deep, depending on setting. You could easily go as far as 1/4 in or more.

For the coins we’re you engraving or just marking them? Do you feel the IR laser is a must to add?

Marking them but I can definitely feel the engraving. So is definitely a little scratch on the metal. If you plan on engraving metal or plastic, IR definitely a must have. I don’t do metal or plastic so not necessary for me

Hi Skyler. Have you tried it with light or socket face plates? To indicate what each switch turns on/off for example. I’ve seen some multi switches in kitchens for isolating the oven, fan extractor, fridge, etc.

I thought you just log onto Xtool and it should just show. The new Xtool software update that will be released on 12 definitely has it. They sent me the beta version, planning on playing with it today
