Love that you make your kids clean and do laundry. A lot of moms on here complain about having so much to do but their kids just sit and watch. My kids are 17 and 14 and have been doing their own laundry since they were 9 and they each have a room to clean other than their room.

Loved this video! You are realistic about how the playroom should be cleaned and organized. I love the smell of pine sol. My Papa always said his Mama used it when he was kid. The smell always brought back memories of their home in the 40s. I have read the scent is supposed to help keep flies and mosquitos away.

Amy, I also have a tip on cleaning lamp shades..My husband has an air compressor in his shop I take all my lampshades off about once a month and he will take them out there and use his blower attachment to blow off the dust. It works great for whoever is interested. I have one shade that has ridges on it do it cleans in between. Just an FYI 😊

A rug under the table is actually easier than you think to keep clean. I have little kids and a grey and white wool rug. It actually hides some of the crumbs until you can get to vacuuming even though I do most days. If it is a liquid spill I just spot clean it immediately.
