It's a direct fit on the scx10ii kit version. I had to do some lite sanding due to thick frame paint other than that it fit perfectly

@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol5 жыл бұрын
Hi, one washer is installed on the front lower shaft in between the gear and bearing that inserts in the motor housing and the other washer is between the large gear and bearing in the top gear shaft at the back above the shifting cluster gear shaft.

Hello 🙋♂️ I'm a new Subscriber and enjoying your videos. I have been modifying an HPI Venture and would like to spend more of my hard earned coin on something alot more scale. With all that said could you let me know what retailer you have bought this item from and is this the most up to date version of what your using. Finally would you recommend starting with transmission then motor as a starting point. I just have spent entirely to much money to make more Unnecessary purchases.Thank you for your time take care. Well I just watched a half dozen more videos and discovered your playing at a whole other level with the Nitro. 🤣😂 So my questions would relate to electric motors. Thanks again
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol5 жыл бұрын
Hi welcome to my channel! here is the link where I bought my setup, you can install a brushed electric motor to match your build ie crawler or basher, a 27 turn motor is usually a good inbetween motor with some speed and moderate torque, the higher the turns the more powerful and slower the motor is. if you want to run bigger tires on your build a 55 turn will power it with ease. a lot of my builds I start with the gearbox and then a doner frame and what axles I want to add. I have been experimenting with the latest nitro engines just to step outside the box lol! any other questions feel free to hit me up. here is the link for the 2 speed gearbox. www.ebay.com/itm/Xtra-Speed-Aluminum-CNC-Alloy-V8-Engine-2-Speed-For-SCX10-II-XS-SCX230090SV/132529552407?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Hey brother, I had to answer your question from your older post for some reason it’s not in my recent comments, you have a great idea with the coil front and leaf spring rear, the scx10 frames can be modified for rear leafs and the xtraspeed transmission fits it or you could surf eBay for a crawler chassis they have many different companies selling them,

Thanks again for your time. It gets a bit overwhelming when there is so many to choose from. I just wanted to find the most realistic chassis. I personally like to C channel look Vs that rc4wd boxed solid rail look.I don't have a PC so everything I look at is through my phone picture by picture 🤦♂️. You can see how this makes searching the world wide Web a whole lot more time consuming.Well back to the Horrible weather in WNY take care 🙋♂️

Hey Dennis, did you find out any smaller pinion gears for this gearbox, and so yes, could you give me some specs or a link where to buy? I got this gearbox, but in first gear my car is a littlebit to fast and there is minor kogging on really slow speeds. I tried a bigger motor (3660), but that was too crazy and i broke the pin inside the last gear. Now running the F540 V2 which feels perfect. Thank you!
@dennisdempseyradiooutofcontrol4 жыл бұрын
I don't know if they make a smaller pinion than the one that was supplied with the gearbox, RC4WD used to sell a planetary reduction gearbox that might fit between the motor and transmission if there's enough room between your grill and motor, they have the measurements on all there products making it easier for us to scratch build.
