Not sure how I just stumbled across this, but really glad I did! Didn't know Kloss had this channel. I grew up in the Philly area, was at every single ECW Arena show til the end. So I definitely loved XPW when it was around. Y'all filled a void that needed to be filled, and took the violence to the next level beyond ECW. People nowadays see hardcore deathmatches and fast high flying Americanized Lucha at every indy show, they don't realize how rare and underground hardcore wrestling used to be. Gonna enjoy watching all these interviews. The ECW era and the time shortly after were my favorite times as a fan, and I'm looking forward to hearing some stories I've never heard before m. I met him at an XPW show when I was a kid. Guy was intimidating in the ring, but totally cool after when he signed my broken half of a table. I had a sign too with some obscenities and he told me i shouldnt have those bad words on it lol really humble guy.

I witnessed Vic Grimes emerge from under the ring, at that event. He cut a hole in the ring mat with his pizza cutter, and came up to wreak havoc. It was pretty awesome! Vic Grimes rules!

I hope Vic Grimes is interviewed for the XPW episode of Dark Side of the Ring. Ever since the New Jack episode, I wondered why he didn't appear on it to discuss the scaffold fall (and the Danbury Incident) and give his side of the story. Hopefully he makes that XPW episode appearance this season.

@@luispadilla6826 new Jack and Vic grimes had a match in ecw in Danbury in like 98 or 99 where they were supposed to go off a balcony thru a table. Vic got scared up there and said he’s not doing the spot so new Jack just grabbed him and pulled him off the balcony with him and Vic ended up doing a flip and crushing jacks head on between his 400 lbs and the cement and brain fluid was coming out of new jacks ears nose and mouth and he’s blind in one eye for it supposedly. So he tried to get revenge by killing Vic In a scaffold match a few years later by throwing him off a 40 foot scaffold and tried to make him miss the tables on purpose and hit the floor but god spared him and he JUST landed in the ring

Pretty much dragged him off then starts crying when Vic lands on top of him. The revenge he took was disgusting, he deserves to rot in hell. Vic lied to NJ and said he checked out the scaffold and made sure it was sturdy. Vic was also the one that insisted on two tables, when it's known to be unpredictable. Climb scaffolding on a live PPV with tables obviously in place for "something," then don't deliver? That wasn't in ECW's DNA.

Saw many a XPW card in California and they always blew me away with their violence. I remember one match Grimes was on at Birmingham High in The Valley part of Los Angeles where he fell back first into a bed of nails and literally got stuck on it. That was the same card Supreme literally almost died twice with botched stunts.
