Ça fait rappeler "Et au milieu coule une rivière" et ce pêcheur joue le rôle du jeune pêcheur que jouait Brad Pitt à ses débuts. Il faut avoir confiance à son matos, joli combat, plus difficile à maîtriser qu'à la mouche classique car manque de réserve de ligne. Bravo ! tout les ingrédients pour marquer ce passage dans la vie d'un pêcheur. Il pourra plus tard le raconter à ses petits enfants et le prouver grâce à cette vidéo pour ne pas qu'ils disent que "le vieux" raconte des histoires. Bravo pour le "NO KILL" les jeunes ont tout compris, ils savent que piller les rivières ne dure qu'un temps. Gracias pescadors señor

Amazing - I had heard of throwing the tenkara rod in as a last resort if you hook a big one, great to see it for real. I also read if you just sit & wait the fish will eventually bring the rod back to the same place for you to finish landing it,having tired itself out towing the rig around for a while.

No le solto nunca el freno ... si le sueltas poco a poco el freno , la trucha tira menos y la terminas cansando ,hasta que ya no tire mas y, ahi vuelves a apretar el freno del carrete y,comienzas a recoger linea ( nylon ), de esa forma sacas una trucha grande como la de este video !! Sorry, but catch an release is nil. The fish fights for his life and he get's weakened. Only catch, if you want to eat it. Otherwise, leave them alone.

It is all about how you handle The fish, when you're going to release it you have to make sure the fish is in the net in the water all the time, Then help the fish to get its strength back. It can take 15-30 minuters some times. Only take it out of the water for a fast photo but not for long. Also wet your hands so you do not hurt the mucus layer, Then buy a good fishing net, The net should be made of Rubber and not "rope". A short clip from iceland here on KZbin you can see a guy who tags The fish and have caught The same fish several years later. So i guess the fish you caught would die if released because i am sure you handle The fish poorly.
