How would you feel about seeing some 10man vods or potentially doing coaching sessions?
Leave any suggestions below! I'm making a guide targeted towards beginners and that should be coming soon. I have a settings video coming soon but I may not upload it.

Your content is to the point, informative, descriptive and the delivery is great. If you don't already coach, I reckon you'd be a good one. Plenty of opportunity at the moment to do that. Keep up the good work my man, there's lot of potential to be a good source of the more subtle but high skill mechanics of gunplay and agent abilities.

@@xtrval Your style and explanations fit those of someone who could teach others and I can see that's what you're trying to do here. The light bulb popped in my head when you did your aim video as it's matched up to the practice I was doing previously but man, that head tracking exercise made me totally change up my settings and realise how much thinking time goes into my aiming and cross hair placement. Looking forward to your future content, so much to cover. Hope it works out for you, subbed and recommended you to my scrub friends so I don't have to carry them anymore :D

I really like this video because you talk like a real person. And not some one who sounds like they are just reading a script and telling you what exactly you need to hear, and not being a person and saying shit like "yeah this will take a while to do right but when you do, do it right you get better". When normally videos just end when they tell you all their talking points

I like to smooth the corner while walking and there is no spread on almost all weapons while walking, I also peek the corner from farther away so I see the enemy first, it’s a technique that works every time and you can even kill operators holding an angle easily
@megalonoobiacinc4863
@megalonoobiacinc4863 4 жыл бұрын
one thing i thought about is that you can mark very common corners like a ramp on split in the minimap. Then you have a wh point you can aim at, then aim headheight over that and prefire. Should help both learning the angle and assist you before you do. On that note, it would be nice with a more long lasting and less intrusive ping, maybe a private ping just to help yourself out for cases like that...

@kesnk773
@kesnk773 4 жыл бұрын
Shouldering is when you don't shoot and only expose your shoulder while peeking. This is either to bait out a shot from an enemy awp or to get info. Jiggle peeking can be two things: When you peek a corner and counter-strafe back into it, or when you shoot while peeking and counter-strafing. The first version is usually used to get more info while the second is used more often while prefiring a position where you think an enemy will be

When you want to peek, you just start running the last second before you peek? I mean you walk with shift so they don't spot your position and then u let shift and peek the angle? Also in situations 1vs2 1vs3 how you check all angles one by one when invading a Spot? Thats so hard i think
@asdrol
@asdrol 4 жыл бұрын
Giannis Weightlifting It is hard to get used to all of it, but it is necessary at higher ranks. You run right before you peek so that you come around the angle faster so as to counter angle advantage and make use of peekers advantage. When you run before you peek, you run just enough to where you don’t make any sound but still peek the angle. If you want to learn how to clear out a lot of angles let’s just say in a site for a retake, go into a custom game and practice pre aiming common angles while not exposing yourself to others. An easy way to get used to it is going into practice>spike defuse. Press F3 and set it to hard. Don’t buy abilities and get a gun you like. Play it through until you can complete it 50% of the time. Hope I could have helped!

@@asdrol after playing for some days so far I understand what you say. I try to work on it. Another fact that really makes my life hard now, is that sometimes I check an angle like we described before, but i find my self distracted from other angles and not ready to shoot. Maybe these checks have a low percentage of finding someone and firing, so when im not concentrated i check an angle but without actually checking it. I dont know if u get me.

I dont actually see it like you do at 5:00 the way you peek should always be different to have your opponent on an edge. peeking close to the wall is only a disadvantage if you shoulder peek or slow peek. but because this valorant shoulder peeking is already a disadvantage imo. so if u wanna show how big your weenie is and wide peek that motherf**** i would actually stand close to the wall. Because most people that hold that angle EXPECT you to peek it far away from the wall so they aim higher for the head level. so if u swing out wide close to the wall you should be able to frag them first. it's all about being in their head, cause countering a guy that always wide peeks u close to the wall makes u want to aim lower and more away from the wall so he swings out wide INTO your crosshair placement instead of you having to readjust to him swinging. so if u do this and get inside his head and then mix it up with slowpeeking far away from the wall makes him insecure and always gives you the edge on this player. and then of course you can switch this up cause u cant wide peek a motherf**** every single round but telling people that they "cant peek like that besides on some scenarios' is in my opinion false information.

Ah okay I can see what you're getting at man, I was trying to give the example as if, you are going to slow peek, you don't want to be pressed up because you won't see them and if you slowly peek while dick to ass with a wall you'll be picked easily. Wide swinging close to a wall is useful! I should have stated that more thoroughly and I should have explained it a bit better, so that's on me. Thank you for the input! (Also your english is very good).
@asdrol
@asdrol 4 жыл бұрын
I think in this situation peeking close to the wall might be not the best choice because the man can easily flick down a little and still smack you if he’s using an OP. However, let’s just say it’s on Bind showers, and an operator in sting in the corner. Wide peek that shit close to the wall, the op can’t flick halfway across the universe to hit you.

at 10:26 i think your peak is way too wide in a case where they're maybe 2 players going against you ( yeah its unlikely but ... ). Basically with your peaks you want 1vs1 situations. Unless ofc you heard the dude and you wanna wide peak to surprise the shit out of him :) Ey maybe im wrong let me know, i'm up for debate
@xtrval
@xtrval 4 жыл бұрын
Sure! In my opinion, in a position like that you shouldn't usually have to worry about more than one player there, and with that being said, I would personally wide swing it as to not be peeking close up to the wall. Arguments can of course be made in both cases. What's your take?
@lefleurdps7336
@lefleurdps7336 4 жыл бұрын
@@xtrval I 100% agree, there are some places where it's unlikely to see more than 1 player and so it's best to play the odds. After all, the best crosshair placement is the one with no wasted motions! Thank you for your input ;)
