Same here. Glad to see Larry connecting directly with Chinese audience through Prof. Chen. Surprised to see Chen spoke fluent English though he stayed in US for only one year.

Well done China Content Center for putting 沈逸教授 and Larry Johnson together.... Cross talks like these help reveal a lot of things that mainstream media would not dare show.!!! 👏👍
Thank you professor and Larry for this amazing interview.

Mr Johnson, stop asking why people could speak perfect English. Ask why the Americans couldn’t speak Chinese. 🙄🙄🙄 Anyways, excellent high intellect conversation. ❤

As a hair stylist, I actually can see more and more Americans speaking Chinese . I have a doctor client went to China to volunteer for a year and came back speaking Mandarin 10 times better than me. I have never been to Asia but I learn Chinese by myself. I can read more than I can speak actually .

This video is intended for English speaking audiences. It was not a patronizing comment and I agree with you that learning Chinese is worthwhile. But, as you know, there is no single Chinese language. Which version of Chinese do you recommend? Mandarin?

@@SyTacLocReading level better than speaking, this is quite common when learning a second language as an adult. Children always can learn second language through listening and speaking while adult reading and writing. i think this is decided by human brain.
