Was this for your fall soap challenge? You've done such an excellent job. And yes, I agree that the soap should look good all the way to the end. I hate seeing soaps that look amazing on the top, and then they get cut and look okay, and then as they get used, they look boring. I love the look of the effect all the way through, to the very end of its life.

This is not for challenge. Here in Taiwan, we don’t teach swirl on the top, it always goes to the end.

I ran this thru a lye calculator and the proportions of water and lye are very different from what is shown. It also rated low on the lather scale. I just noticed that the lye percentage is different from the one I used as well and water amount may be different from the iced milk that she used.

I don’t use any lye calculator because the oil is natural product, the saponification value should be different in every lot. I always calculate the recipe by hand with the specification in COA. The water amount will be 2-3 times of lye.

1. 有什麼用什麼，乳皂的保存比水皂更好。 2. 打到沒有油水分離就改手打。 3. 皂用色粉都是安全無毒的。 4. 室溫。
