My personal perspective, ma long is very strong and competitive athlete but xu xin is a player. Xu xin enjoys every game. Ma long fights for win. During one of Chinese national team interviews, Xu xin was considered most lazy team members and always complained every exercise they were requested to do. It just fun to watch
