My heart genuinely goes out to Mhi'ya. Hopefully this whole situation doesn't ruin the rest of her season experience. Never has anyone been torn to shreds for getting help on drag race but I would honestly expect nothing less from this fandom. To Naysha, Kara and Batty, don't smile in Mhi'ya's face next week and say "Oh you are doing so good and are killing these lip syncs", while y'all basically insinuated that she should've lost because her track record isn't strong.

Black and Brown queens rarely recover from this level of dragging. It's sad because production are fully aware of the fandom but continually sets POC up for failure. People crying for Plasma (who is talented) when she will be better than okay with her 2 wins. Mhi'ya on the other hand will be like Silky or Rhaja (I spelled her name wrong), will need a redemption because the fandom has deemed her a bad queen.

What pisses me off surrounding the conversation with Mhiya is YALL DID NOT HAVE THIS ENERGY WITH KAMERON AND JOURGEOUS!!!!! And to do the whole "oh she was flipping and it was a lip sync" was so annoying because don't try and give it like she wasn't clearly lip syncing. And lastly, everybody has their strengths. While Miya may not be killing the competition, SHE IS A PERFORMER! So that's what she's going to excel in. Q is a great designer and can't lip sync well so she'll prob go home if she lands in the bottom 2 and should have against Amanda. I mean I can go on for days but this fan base always gives this energy with a certain complexion of queen and save your "its not about race" bs comments because it is and it always has been. Mhiya rightfully won all 3 of those and I hope she send y'all other favs home just to piss y'all off more lol

You make a valid argument. People are often harsher on the black queens and that I absolutely agree with. However, I think in this case it has less to do with race and more so that people such as myself were really rooting for Plasma and wanted to see her go further. Mhiya rightfully won the lipsync but I also think Plasma gave it her all considering Mhiya is like litterally the boss level of lipsyncs lollll.

Again not Mhiyas fault at all she did what was instructed and rightfully won. It also ups the stakes but it all comes down to a lipsync and Mhiya has won all of hers regardless of who she was up against. Track record shouldn’t come into play during a lipsync but production can be 50/50 on that too. And while there could be a case for why someone with 3 bottoms is still competing but as long as they keep slaying the lipsyncs then they earn their spot to still be there.

The thing about the lipsync.. Mih'ya didn't just win because she did flips. She was commanding the stage the whole time and brought something new for each section. Whereas Plasma's performance just lacked structure and momentum. Her hair kept getting in her face. She was repeating the same moves. She kept looking over at Mih'ya, trying to match her energy. Mih'ya was strong and Plasma was mediocre, straight up. Plasma didn't need to do better in the lipsync to stay, she just needed to deliver something solid and they would've kept her based on track record. But she failed to do that so she had to get the chop.

Mhi'ya was far better than Plasma compared to Amanda and Q. Also Q had a lot to show and Amanda didn't. Plasma wasn't gonna win but Mhi'ya will definitely end up lip syncing again and that's why the kept her in my opinion.

Girl Mhi’ya somehow broke the curse of taking your wig and shoes off would mean to be an immediate loss during a lipsync since we know Ru hates that even queens who would do well in the lipsync would get some home or just lose the lipsync bc of that. She may not be doing well in the competition but that’s impressive. Pretty bummed plasma left but she left with 2 wins under her best and that gorgeous flower runway always will be in my head.
