Hook’s team has such incredible synergy it’s phenomenal. The Piccolo-Vegeta shell is absolutely rock solid, so much so that Baby is effectively an expendable member. He can be used to sacrifice or push the advantage with greed in a way where if Hook loses him, it’s not a big loss, but Baby’s shenanigans can cause some real mental damage. OB’s team is the opposite. There’s no advanced synergy, just basic patchwork synergy, especially for Hit. I know Hit is his signature character, but I think his T. Gohan and Trunks are suffering because Hit holds them back. He would be better off incorporating a good block pressure based assist to make his blockstrings and mix setup more lethal. As it is right now his neutral is solid and his combo game is very good but his ability to lock down his opponents is very weak, and his meter usage is suboptimal.

I agree, Hit is and has been the weakest link on the team for awhile. Cool as he is, he no longer benefits the other two. That said, all you really need is Trunks with sparking. Sacrifice two players, it really don't matter who ya pick. Just build up that meter to 7. Then sparking and limit breaker together unlock SSJ Rage Trunks. After that, you just win. Dat simple.

Big brain Hook as usual. First time he tried the re-stan, he tried crossup which failed cus OB jumped. Next time he got him in that situation, Hook did 2L which beats jumping and killed Hit for it. My goat
