I adapted your code for a Seeed Studio SD card Shield (Arduino compatible) on a Nucleo-F446RE, I had to modify for the shield's CS and used SPI1 and UART2. Worked like a charm. PS I had to run the video 1 second at a time to get the code for main as the link does not work.

Thanks for the tutorial. It works for me with a NUCLEO 32L476RG under stm32l4xx_hal.h. To be compatible to a Arduino Data Logging Shield V1.0, i used SPI1 and PB6 (Arduino D10) for SPI1_CS.

Yes ,, same here ,,, i have NUCLEO 32L476RG and it works ,, only one problem that i have 3 sd cards and 1 is working, rest of two are not working. But all three are showing fine on laptop, dont know that is the issue.

could you please send me your project? I have the same board and can't make it work, idk what is the issue. Card is working with esp32, I did all things from video and after proper initialization i can't open file

Thanks for the video, so helpful. I do have a question, I did not follow the thought sequence where you say that 2 external files (fatfs_sd) are needed - did you get those from an application example? self developed? I would expect the CubeIDE to create them somewhere? it's the only thing that confuses me still.

i am use this code but this data display in my serial port not open txt file please help me sir Micro SD card is mounted successfully! File was not opened for reading and checking the free space! The free space is: 253950 The file was not closed. File was not opened for reading! The file was not closed. The Micro SD was not unmounted!

I see now that every 512th character is in error. When I write all 'a' characters, every 512th character is an 'i'. 5 different text files generated errors in exactly the same places. What do you think this could be?

Did you find out what was the problem? I have also l476rg and don't know why it is not working
