I have used a Nady system constantly for a few years then one day my battery was dead and me with no replacement , I decided to plug up and too my surprise my guitar sounded totally different maybe not so much chord wise but scratches, pinch harmonics, scrapes etc,etc.. were much crisper and had more bite. just my analogy . I think you are quite the musician, it is amazing how one can bond with an instrument they are like a best friend through good times and bad they will listen . Peace too you both and Happy Holidays .

As with all other content creators - the major appeal to your videos is the genuine and honest presentation of you just being yourselves - and cracking yourselves up - and us in the process! I know there is a general plan for the video - but you leave it open so you can interact with each other whether the camera is rolling or not - As a father of three daughters - y'all continue to warm my heart - and make me want to jam on my guitar - Wirelessly!

Another valuable aspect of a wireless system is that it allows you to “Break the fourth wall” Performers on stage are sort of like watching a movie, but when a performer steps INTO the audience, suddenly the audience is on stage. There’s a different excitement level the the performer is 5 feet away from you. This is another powerful tool. #BigOrangeTarp

First off, I too love watching you two. Second, I used one of these wireless sets for about five years, playng at church, plus many gigs and rehearsals. They warn about not using it with active electronics instruments, but I never had any problems with my active bass or acoustic guitar. Flawless performance and great sound, plus it is very handy to be able to charge them in the car on the way to a gig or rehearsal. The reciever battery started to lose charge pretty quickly after a while, but then I would just keep it plugged in to power while playing. All the best to you guys. Keep making these great videos!
@simplecountrydrummer2 жыл бұрын
I was wondering about that. My guitar has a preamp i guess you call it. It is an Ovation. Thats not a problem for wireless?
@dennisvaleriefleming99982 жыл бұрын
It wasn't for me, but if you read reviews, others have had problems with active instruments . Plus, the manufacturer warns of this. I guess you just have to try it and see. I got it for normal electric guitar use, and was very surprised when I tried it with my active bass and acoustic and it was ok.

Wires deliver more of the sound, but can be cumbersome and pick up radio noise. The wireless devices are extremely useful, but they do cut out some of the sound, and if you're experiencing a lot of radio noise they also have issues. I usually use a combination of the two. A wire taking the output of my pedal to my amp, and a wireless device to connect my instrument to the pedal. It seems to be less likely to get background noise that way.

VERY NICE wireless system, Ellen! You want something that faithfully reproduces everything the best cable gives you and has low latency, but that's dead-quiet when you're not playing and these setups have come a long way in the last 30 years. The industry standards back then were made by Nady and Samson.

I envy you both. My father drank and I never had a relationship with him. Your sense of self comes from your father. Your confidence comes from endless hours - years - of practice and success, and is encouraged by your father. The dearth of each in my life is obvious when I deal with other people. May I suggest Low Rider by War? It's another song in which the bass is one of the lead instruments, like many others you've played. I'm not familiar with the culture of the people who have these cars, but I like the song. If you've already played this one, then you made a great choice.
This girl is jammin almost all the time, even when shes not playin. My parents never understood it with me, they called it A.D.D.😂 the reality is I had a symphony in my head 24/7 and I would jam also at that age. I started on the piano when I was in diapers. I Was terrible at it until I picked up a Guitar when I was 11. Nirvana had just hit the scene while Stone Temple Pilots and Pearl Jam were also making it big. Great time to be alive and rockin. Still, if Steve Vai ever asked me to play on his stage I would be floored. I admire that as well as your future Ellen. I've got my ear on you, as you are already going far, keep it up!👍🎶🎵✌💯

He said he wore the top two layers of skin off his index and middle fingertips using his fingers. He found out it also worked better for his style, he could get more attack.
