You’re a real craftsmen. If only repaired classics with ‘no rust’ were all done to your standard. Like the format👍

Beautiful results with that spot welder, looks like it gives your upper body a good workout without the support cable, but well worth it, looking like a production line video but better . Top quality work mate !
@nathan24833 жыл бұрын
Pretty happy with the new format. Maybe a little more explanation about what you’re doing would be beneficial. Maybe a guide to how you approach the job before you start and a couple of pointers for us amateurs would be awesome

Absolutely fascinating watching that repair, had no idea there were so many different pieces that go to make that front corner. No wonder they rust. I’d love to be able to do that.

Nice work that’s one way of doing a xw xy I did a older xr falcon in a similar way but I had the car on a chassis rack hand made the inner sill panels put new talk boxes on and new outta sill’s only real difference was I trail fitted the doors and checked the gaps before I fully welded it all together and the bottoms of the pillars weren’t rusted like your one was

Awesome work as always mate. This is just my opinion I like watching your videos either way . But I’d love it you did some time laps then explained a little about how you went about doing that but then abit more time laps. Obviously doing it this way I guess would take a lot more time to produce I’m tipping. Awesome job as always. I can’t believe some of the t shirts you wear while working some of them are to good for that haha👍👍👍👍

Hey bud it’s excellent to see your dedication towards all your work, and good to see that you are giving a positive light to the industry. Just have a couple of questions, and Please don’t take this as a criticism. when you were putting on the xw sill panel. I noticed that you cut the pillars flush and not staggered. And do a pre-fit with the doors to check door gaps to the sill. Be for you welded the sill in place. Once again not a criticism thanks
@xacoupeguy3 жыл бұрын
hard to see but i can 100% assure you all the piller cuts are staggered. and i appreciate all the comments now unfortunately the customer did not bring down any doors but the car has been braced to the tenth degree and alot and i mean alot of measurements were taken from the otherside to ensure everything is where it should be including i deliberately left a smidgen of the old sill panel at the back to ensure the correct height. cheers for the comment!
