“Fonzie” on “Happy Days” originally had a red cotton jacket, like James Dean’s . They later changed it to a black leather one.

Did the driver of that other car really lose control, or did he INTENTIONALLY ram into James Dean's Porsche? Cuz I have SERIOUS DOUBTS that you would actually hit someone on the opposite side of a straight road like that in broad daylight, when you could already see 'em from miles away! Do ya see how that doesn't make any sense?

Easy Rider is a superficial movie in your eyes? I see it as a american masterpiece
@frankgraham19966 ай бұрын
@@fernandomaron87 That was a work of Fiction. Jimmy was not as rebellious on set as depicted in these Dean movies that are not suppose to be fiction, and this one in particular, when it came to his acting career. He did improvise scenes that annoyed other actors and he did try to get under the skin of the actor who was portraying his antagonist in order to elicit a response that would make the film more real. He was an extremely intellectual actor who wanted to be a Director and not just an actor. He did things on purpose to make the emotions of OTHER ACTORS react to him in a way that fit the script. Actors like Raymond Massey in East of Eden intensely disliked the way he improvised and his hostility toward the younger Dean was exactly what James Dean wanted to elicit from him in the film because that was the story line. He was brilliant in the way he tried to passively participate in the direction of a picture and did not care if the real director liked it or not. Kazan actually understood what he was doing in East of Eden and he liked it. Dean's reputation as a rebel came from his second film "Rebel without a Cause" in which he portrayed a rebellious teen-ager but he was really 24 years old; and his unfortunate car accident that made people believe that he was reckless. He took chances including driving on Highways in his three foot high spider that was designed for racing on a track where all cars are going in the same direction and were all about the same size. The Cali highways going north-south back then had two way traffic and the cars were much larger and heavier than his race car. He had little protection from a potential Collison on those Highways. But as a driver he was not Reckless. He took risks as an actor by improvisations but , unlike Brando, he did know his lines although he would not memorize them word for word because he believed that his character would be more real to an audience if he reached for a line rather than just speak a line like a robot. And also unlike Brando I never heard of Dean pulling down his pants to shine a moon in order to piss off the boss/producer of a film. His acting style worked. Directors enjoyed working with Dean, as opposed to Brando, who was a real rebel that annoyed directors. If he had lived he would have become a director himself, and that was his long term goal.
