In case you don’t know, this song isn’t about the guy being a stalker or anything like that. The girl saying, “Take the mixed bouquet and leave, leave!” Was a bit of a, “I’m not good enough for you, go and find someone who is” kind of thing since she was afraid she wasn’t good enough and he would leave her at some point. The guy in this song is just in a way, proving that would never leave her. So it’s not about the guy absolutely refusing to leave even if the girl doesn’t like him it’s just him proving he wouldn’t simply leave her for someone else.
