Honestly out of the blue leaders i think zamas is one of the worst into topku. His 25k life is meaningless because of 25k spam. He has a net 0 draw which means topku can restabilish his board more consistently than zamas can remove. His activate main is absolutely useless, because whenever you get to 2 life, topku just instantly kills you with ribrianne Vegeta has more innate power with activate main, can cast gotenks for 1 energy cheaper every turn, which means he can easily replenish combo power, and his 7 hand limitation doesnt matter when topku is swinging at you 4 times a turn. Trunks can bounce topkus 3 costs for free every turn, removing the rest with sickle, while drawing and having access to all the rest of the blue goodstuff zamas does. Fused is probably better than black in the matchup tho.

Zamasu not drawing is not an issue at all, or at least that has been my experience. After 150 matches with zamasu i find his late game is very aggresive against topku since topku needs to really have all the cards needed and has waate resources from hand to actually get me to 2 life if after that point its even worth it for them to summon rebrianne if they cant kill me. While i am using GB and bringing back my gotenks and zamasu and whatever card i need in that situation from the drop

Comboing early to defend is good but you want to combo 5ks and bad cards, not every 10k on every attack. Getting to 4 cards in hand versus topku is bad. Yes, you're still at high life, but late game they can spam the board and you won't have anything to defend with anyway, and if you were planning to compensate those few resources with Goku Black, you won't be able to defend it. You don't ever attack their leader more than once until the awaken is inevitable. Yes, they self-awaken a lot, which is why you want to work for it. Even if you delay the awaken by just one turn, it's better to have one fewer card than let them have one turn of energy discount. The sooner they awaken, the more energy they'll have over you. You were extremely lucky they they didn't take a single life during their first three turns (they were pretty bad). You're correct that Vegito is not that good unless you chain them, curve them perfectly or you want to play Mai. I find Zenoh way too slow, and easy to play around (you didn't take a single good cards with it, just a vanilla 25k, and cards that don't hit your back side without combos and already replaced themselves). This is especially true if you're not comboing like crazy and getting to 4 cards in hand like you, because it's at that time that you want to pay 1 for the leader skill. I'm not a fan of trying to Goku Black with this deck and outvalue your opponent. Gohan makes it trivial to remove any big thing. With 6 mana, you can already double strike/Vegito SCR + Galick Gun/Final Hope Slash + combo everything for the win, because your opponent will always be at 3 life. If your attacks didn't work to take them to 2, then you take your advantage and stabilize. But there are many situations where at this point you're not getting another turn with cards in hand to push, and they're probably saving at least one brick (Hidden Arrogance). If they get impatient and start attacking with Caulifla, or need to awaken and attack with Gohan and Hit, take your free draws. But if not, don't hit the leader.

Strong cards like Broly and Kefla shouldn’t replace themselves And just like Zamasu and Broly leaders, Topku should lose the ability to draw on attacks to balance out the game
