I really feel so emotional whenever someone appreciates iKON like this, iKON is one of the precious groups that is so underrated and I hate it, If only we could open every ears, minds and hearts of everyone who listens to korean music and let them appreciate real quality music too not just the popularity. the irony of it all from Love Scenario to Killing Me to Goodbye Road is that their producer/composer KIM HANBIN haven't been in any romantic relationship before but only write songs inspired by the books he read, movies and drama he's watched.. i mean to be able to create incredible songs like these without having to go through a break up says a lot about how lyrically and musically genius he is.. please react to I'M OK next that song is super relatable both on life and love in general..

I'm writing an essay because I got emotional from your reaction. lol THE FEEEEEEEEELS MANNNNN THE FEEEEEEELS 😭😭😭😭 This is why Kim Hanbin is the best lyricist! Even the flow of words sound so natural. He can deliver multitude of profound feelings not only through hard hitting lyrics but even in subtle ways. They said genius is taking the complex and making it simple. Hanbin has a way of capturing the complexity of human emotions and experiences, and translate it into simple expressions that evoke imagination and our own complex reality. There's always this genuine feeling in his music whether it's about having fun or dealing with heartaches. You can tell there is purpose for each element and not just jumbled together to force an impact on you. On top of this, he is an incredibly versatile songwriter. There's a reason why he is the first and only idol and youngest Korean artist to win Songwriter of The Year. He takes an extensive role in producing songs and doesn't need a long list of songwriters nor a long time to create. As you pointed out, this is a song that heals despite the pain. A common theme found in Hanbin's music. It's sad that he had to go through a personal crisis when he was helping people with his music aside from giving back to society through different causes. However, Hanbin is a sincere person and a real talent as testified by his colleagues so he will be back for sure. In fact, companies can't resist releasing his songs for their artists including iKON despite his hiatus. Not surprising since the group has a brotherly bond. iKON's beautiful and distinct voices color Hanbin's songs and bring them to life. Hanbin trained the members since pre-debut. Now they are ready to stand on their own and can also produce while Hanbin will continue his path as an Executive Director. iKON is a very talented group. A special one tbh. Have broken many barriers and set records but remain down-to-earth and don't act like celebrities. They are the only idols to win Producer of The Year even beating their own company. I'm always rooting for them. 💕

I already made a whole essay on that on my previous comment under Love Scenario reaction video (lol, sorry). In this video, I noticed you pointed out that despite how sad this song is, it brings you kind of joy. Because the song is kinda convey the moving on vibe. If you read this, please kindly consider checking out another song of iKON called Rubber Band. It has no music video, but they uploaded music performances instead, which sadly they don't provide subtitles. You can watch the unofficial ones, which has subtitles. The song is about how a person is realizing that whatever they do, they know their relationship is coming to an end, one way or another. lyrics of all iKON's songs are much deep. Fyi, the leader (BI) was the first idol who got title "The Best Songwriter" in 2018. And the rapper (Bobby) was also the first idol who won Show Me The Money 3 (rap competition in Korea) at the age of 19 & still till now he's still the one & only idol won SMTM. their lyrics are 99% wrote by the leader (BI) + Bobby (rap line). It's not that iKON has no popularity. They are one of the top groups mainly known for their music. I think they are one of the few artists who truly care for the fans mental health. They don't encourage obsessive fans and don't put up a perfect boyfriend image instead they tell us to make ourselves a priority. Also since they are the most cost-effective group who don't need high budget from music production, styling to live bands for a great show, YG delegates them as a touring group focusing in Japan (2nd biggest music industry in the world). YG makes the most money there. iKON's improvisation, stage presence and independence is a double-edge sword. Because of BB's enlistment they needed to increase profit margin and the quick low investment high return non-stop tours in Japan by iKON allowed them that. I wish YG promote them more tho. YG was just happy with Hanbin making music for everyone in the company. 🤧 But iKON has a big fanbase in Japan and known internationally.
