I've been listening to Daniel Caesar for a little over a year and I swear, his music is timeless. Some may agree on this or not but to me, his music brings out traits of bill withers and Simon and garfunkel. It's weird. Especially after hearing this track. That's the feeling I get. the medulla oblongata is the part of the brain that regulates the nervous system. the medulla oversees our impulses, ie coughing vomiting. Daniel equates himself to a medulla, stating that his worthiness of love is something that doesn’t require thought but more so is an impulse
