Imma big fan of that slight raspy tone I think it is what makes this engine sound so unique. Going completely catless makes it too raspy imo. This current setup with no burbles sounds perfect.

@@Metoy3r didn’t catch it in the video but are you still using BM3? I still have my 428xi great to see how you’ve upgraded over time. Just got the bm3 WiFi adapter but it looks like you were using a cable so was curious, haven’t tried to flash wireless yet though

The rasp comes from the muffler they all do it I’m fighting the raps on my m muffler I have on my s58 rn , it’s the baffle design in side of them then it eventually makes the valves rattle making it seem as if it’s “rasp” single mid or x pipe didn’t help when going catless , ima try a after market rear box . It still sounds so good when you going through the gears though , screamer

Try getting some AA mid pipe and a Remus cat back exhaust and some tips of your preference and 0 rasp and exhaust note gets deeper sounds great and amazing turbo spool

Honestly it’s hard to compare since they are 2 very different cars. But the 340i did feel like it had more torque. But the f80 has insane top end

Probably the resi delete. I hear that’s what keeps the rasp away for the most part. But then again my car doesn’t have any with my midpipe so I have no idea

doing downpipes can be a bitch bro, when i did my catless on b48 the bracket was annoying, and getting 02 sensors before pulling out pipe cause bracket was an azz

@@Metoy3rfacts the f30 b58 downpipe install has to be the easiest downpipe install I’ve ever done in my life took 30 min and I’ve had all motors from n54 to my s58 now .
