For those wondering the Lass is considered one of the toughest opponents in Pokémon history. Diglett knows Earthquake, Dig, and Rock Slide and is faster than most of the rental Pokemon. Eevee can spam double team, sand attack or go full in on Double Edge at level 30 being able to one shot most Pokémon in general and no recoil in Gen 1 if KO’d. Kabuto has good coverage, Surf, Ice Beam, and Dig were great coverage back then. Funnily enough, Pikachu is her weakest Pokémon and she rarely picks it, and when she does it ALWAYS with Kabuto. She’s also programmed to pick a lv. 30 90% of the time with the most common team being Diglett, Vulpix/Meowth, Eevee. Gastly helps mitigate the difficulty a bit. The final LV. 30’s are in honesty weaker than Lass’. Omanyte has good coverage but like Kabuto Gastly’s Mega Drain on lead damage to it KO’s it handily. For Dratini, he never leads with it, so damage it 30HP or so, then put in Horsea as its ice beam dispatches it handily. Also, if using Geodude over Horsea, if you see Dratini, just blow up.

That Clefairy in round 6 is way too strong. It's impossible to counter it effectively when it knows Pyschic to hit Ghost and Fighting, Ice Beam to hit Rock, Ground,and Grass, and Thunderbolt to hit Water.

Wow. The AI died on that final battle xD why would it do explosion while you are underground. Not to mention against a Geodude. Maybe his other 2 attacks where electric, and since he already poisoned you, he though his only recourse left was exploding?

Geodude totally walled Voltorb, so it mattered little what Voltorb would’ve done: Dig was gonna OHKO it anyways

It had farfetchd...a no change was weird... How d u counter his dratini...??? TWave voltorb and Horsea...??? Which were ur remaining pkmn for that battle if u remember...??? I really like this video, u made this gameplay look SO EASY, like if u used your pkmn from gb rby versions, i never won those cups in r2 with rentals only when i was a kid...i mean the game was so hard as a whole in r2 for me using rentals only.

Guess what? I beat both rounds of Pokémon Stadium the day before yesterday! It was a pain though to do it with Rentals! I finally got to show off my Pokémon Yellow transfer Pak team on this game just now! Now it’s time for some serious payback on some of the Gyms I lost to in R2! For example, Misty, and all the Elite Four Members! They took me 2-5 hours to beat them!🏟

It seems Petit Cup Round 2 just sometimes decides to give the player a freebie. I've seen several videos now where he just doesn't use his Lv 30s at all. And then that explosion while underground, geez

Your electrode's thunder hits at like 90% and you always seem to get clutch critical hits. Was this done on an N64 or an emulator?

Emulator. The medium where the game was played has nothing to do with mathematical aspect such as accuracy and critical hits: also, thunder is a very unreliable attack because it misses quite a lot despite having 70% accuracy

Thanks for showing! I have made many attempts and lose most of my continues on the 7th battle. The trainer tends to use Diglett mostly though, and with the Pokemon being selected to start.. none stand a chance. Gotta hope the trainer doesn't use Diglett on that match.

@@ChrisPTY507 Thanks! It took maybe 10 attempts or so.. but I was able to defeat the trainers with the Pokemon you've selected! ^_^; Always hard to predict what Pokemon your enemy chooses. I think a lot has to deal with luck. I was on my last continue on the 8th trainer. Phew.

No way you can win this consistently, you need good luck, rental pokemon are just plain worse, same pokemon outspeed and have a better attacks and stuff that shouldn't outspeed sometimes does.

Yup. You cannot win this consistently. This is why it took a heck lot of trial and error in order to pull this off. It was very time consuming, but i am satisfied with the results.
