@@hurdthenerd Not really. It came with a Airaid cai and aftermarket mufflers. My plan is to go e-85, ID 1050x injectors, DSX auxiliary fuel pump kit, 92mm throttle body, 2.45 upper pulley, 3" Stainless Works exhaust, Weapon x heat exchanger, Mighty Mouse catch can, and DMS fuel filter. I'm having to get things 1 piece at a time.

@@flyinbrianz22 2.45 upper if you keep the stock lower... 9.1 lower or higher Go 2.55 to stay safe. If you port the blower / add heads you can let it breathe to reduce your IATs you can do 2.45 Upper 9.1 or 10.5 lower. Address your heat issues before adding more horses.

Nice build bro. I buy and sell always a New daily..have had my 09 V ultra view recaros alancantra auto 2inch long tubes no cats 3 inch with electric cutouts..CAI tuned reinforced brick and under hood HX tank..pump&tuned. I have a 2.45 pulley and 100lbs injectors sitting at home. Don’t want to loose anymore MPG! She my daily and I’m at 12.5MPG average. Would love to put those injectors and pulley on but don’t want to loose much more mpg lol. Awesome car bro.

With the correct tuner you will shift as fast. HellCats and ZL1's are 8 and 10 speed auto. As far as gas mileage, E85 will burn thru faster during stop and go traffic. If your doing a road trip 93 will carry decent gas mileage if you keep your foot out of it. HellCat sounded stock to me...lol. Love your channel bro! Port your blower next and Aux pump, will feel like a different car! Sub'd!

Man. Love the content. I drive a E63. I couldn’t make my mind up between the V and the E63 it was definitely a hard decision but I will be adding a CTS V Coupe to my fleet soon

HurdTheNerd Honestly I knew that I would mod either one. So when it came down to power mods. For $1500 you can get a tune only for the AMG and get 700+hp and 830tq. 5-8k will get you around 850-900hp with a turbo cartridge swap. But the V still holds a spot I’m my favorites list.

Boy you better downshift it before you blow that transmission 🤦‍♂️ also start doing cooling mods I haven’t seen not one cooling mod installed the ctsv heat soaks bad and loses power get you a trunk mounted ice tank and you’ll notice the difference

I have a big heat exchanger, 160 thermo, big front mount intercooler, most can’t be shown since there behind the bumper. My car stays around 170 temps. Downshift for what lol I have a trans tune, I need better tire setup honestly.

@@hurdthenerd A aftermarket HX is not enough cooling mods for the V's. You need to add a Trunk Tank with a EMP pump. Your IAT2's is what matters, gotta educate yourself a little more man. Same thing dude above said you can destroy the Spragg in the trans by not downshifting before you mash out. Just some friendly advice from another fast V owner.. Happy New Years!

Kenneth Lim all my cooling is well taken care of. I barely drive the car nor do I really race often. I’m fairly knowledgeable about cooling as I’ve owned plenty cars with ice tanks etc. Yes I’d agree if I was out racing or at the strip. Every V doesn’t need to be a race car though. No point in me getting an ice tank etc to cruise the car once or twice out the week.

HurdTheNerd the ice tank is to keep it cooler doesn’t mean you have to fill it with ice everyday but cooler fluid circulating thru the blower is much better than nothing helping it at all and yes you can hurt the trans even if you have a tune for it think about it you were going like 80mph went from 6th to 2nd or 3rd 6l90’s can last as long as you take care of it I’m not talking shit or anything I hope you take it as constructive criticism

Need to downshift yourself when you hammer on it before you have 3 neutrals. Letting the trans downshift itself at full throttle might snap a shaft. I know this vid is a year old, just want to put it out there for future viewers.

Had that version 2nd gen. Have a 3rd gen now. But, How bout next time you don't set such stipulations as you see, you were disappointed. If you on the streets and its not organized. Your best bet is to pull up, honk, and pull off fast, sort of like how the challenger did you. You confused but that's how it is in the streets. You gotta be quick my dude else you loose out each time!

Everyone has fun. We were actually on a side road nobody else on the road which is why he was able to just bs around lol. Track is where you break stuff, if you don’t have the money to constantly fix it shouldn’t be there. Quick pull on the street go home easy. I don’t race often anyway I baby my cars to much lol.

I have a 13 coupe. My 1st mods were CAI, Magnaflow cat back and diablo 93 tune. Put down 517 hp and 500 tq. Then 2.44 upper pulley and dyno tune= 557 hp and 550 tq. Just got kooks headers. Fluidyne heat exchanger, GR12YS plugs, Accel 9070c wires and ID1050X injectors. Will be getting installed Monday. All but injectors that will be on June 21st when my tuner can do his thang. Cant wait!!!
