The first vector graphics game to really blow me away was 3D Starstrike, after playing Star Wars in the arcade I couldn't believe they'd made something so similar.

That was damn good too! Coded by the legendary Andy Onions, who's become quite the meme on the streams 😆 But yea being a huge fan of the Star Wars coin-op I loved that game, the official conversion by Domark was decent too.

By 1992 I’d left planet cpc. So I was completely unawares of this game. Looks great, it has that arcade fluidity that was very, very rare on the cpc.

Yea I feel this could have been a decent arcade coin-op game somewhere around the mid-80s, by early 90's standards on the 16-bits this seemed a bit old fashioned so reviewed poorly on the Amiga/ST magazines. But this is great stuff on the Amstrad!

Nice looking game for CPC and runs at decent framerate. I did a longplay of the Amiga version long time ago, because nobody else had bothered :D OK game, but not very impressive on the Amiga. Would've been much cooler if they had the foresight to design it as a rhythm game back then, in the vein of 2016 game "Thumper".

Yea the Amstrad is doing really well here, are we 'pushing its limits' here? Not sure. But when you have that Z80 CPU at 4Mhz it was quite good at maths calculations for static screens doing vector graphics and pseudo 3D things. 👍

Loriciels still put out a lot of games in 1992 I think, the CPC was still doing very well in France at the time. 1993 really was the last commercial year (Crazy Cars 3, Prehistorik 2, Super Cauldron, Nigel Mansell World Championship, etc). But yea, 1992 was the last great year!
