This makes Alfheim look so good even though I really did hate it as an arc. I mean, it was decent, but just such a let down from coming off of Aincrad. Wish it didn't have such huge time skips and end on 75th floor.

Well the light novel SAO is based on starts on floor 74 (every thing befor that is flashback and sidestory) so it would have just been like filler and i´m glad that isn´t the case.

I know. I have read all current Light novels that are out. That is not my point. If he only time skipped by a month in the retelling before going back to the 74th floor, that is what, 30ish eps? They were in there for 2 1/2 years IF memory serves correctly. And that's not including eps where there isn't a time skip. I'm not saying the anime should have, I'm saying the Light Novels should have. He clearly knows what the fans want since he's doing SAO progressive explaining floor to floor and adding much more character development.

Ok if it were like the light novel was longer i agree that would have been good but i think the light novel became popular after the anime came out which was i belive after the novel series was finished.

Yeah, the anime definitely gave it more attention, but had he written it like that we could still be in Aincrad. :P Alicization arc honestly feels like him trying to make up for Aincrad if you think about it.
