i think its more so of the computers ability to interpret the brain signals that they're intercepting in order to make a smooth game. Let alone the billions of hours that would go into programming a fully fleshed 3-dimensional world the size of a continent and maintain that on servers with thousands of people. Just to think that only one guy did all this in the anime is absurd, but its an anime so i easily overlooked it

carrotzombi Well the SAO Anime is an adaptation of the light novels with the same name . The light novels are like 14 volumes already , where the first 4 volumes are Aincrad and Alfheim. The 2nd season will be an adaptation of the Phantom bullet arc also known as Gun Gale Online which happens in volumes 5 and 6 in the light novel. So if the 2nd SAO season sales go well enough they might make even more seasons.

In this game if you die you die in real life. Also if the helmet is taken off mid game you die. The only way to get free off the game is to beat it, All 100 floors. Learn the rest by watching. The light novels do cover what happened to laughing coffin and it gets very real. Some people don't forgive and forget. Quite likely that if any new seasons are made, you can count on that being covered as it majorly effects the main characters in the real world.

It's an anime/manga about being stuck in a video game in the future, which is set up as an alternate world, with more attributes (such as sword skills in SAO and flying in ALO). It's a great anime, although I do wish they made it a bit longer.....

i've been playing multiple mmos at a hardcore level for years now. the top guilds are always run by sarcastic college students in their 20s. no exceptions. the fact of the matter is that if this was a real mmo, the game would have been datamined during its beta, widely publicized, and a sizable hardcore fanbase would have a ready list of unreported exploits to cheat their way to the top.

I used pan/crop tool in sony vegas to manually position the camera in many different places so that it made a shake effect when the video is played.

there is a game for SNES that had something like this but not quite xD Its called Lufia II Rise of the sinistrals, it has a dungeon at about half the game and its called Ancient Cave. Ancient cave is a dungeon in which you have 100 floors(the 100th being a big boss battle). It really is an awesome game if you don't mind the graphics. sorry for my english xD

For Roots and GU you don't really need to have played the other games to understand the story due to the fact the story is set is set in a new game and it a whole new cast of characters. There are a few things that wont truly understand such the hints to who some of the characters players are from the last game, such Hasao, Endrance, and Yata, but everything is explained later on so no one is really lost.
