Yes, I love that she puts the description on the cover! Yes, it’s a pencil board and now she has them for each size in various patterns - I purchased mine in forest green and it’s gorgeous- got something in that color last year because it was the only option and it is so much prettier than on the website

I think Catherine at Sterling Ink has notebook and notebook booklets in the B6 slim size. So, if you’re worried about running out of pages, you could always add a notebook/notebook booklet and keep it in your cover with your planner. Good video. Just found your channel today and subscribed.

I also preferred the more subtle grid/numbers - so much easier to customize and I really dislike that in the yearly tracker the weekends are greyed - thankfully she didn’t use red/pink for the weekends but the whole reason I moved away from Hobonichi is all of the markings. Hoping it will be less noticeable when I can put stickers and pen to paper. My Christmas month did come out really nice! I want to include more photos in my journaling - so glad you made the point about the pencil board!

I LOVE Seeing ur face again.! Thank you for explaining Sterling Inks B6 slim planner/journal. I would love an in depth show and tell from you.!! You turned me into a B6 Slim girl (well woman, I am old, lol) Years ago.! I went from Wide to Standard than to B6 Slim (in Chic Sparrow covers) to then adding Hobonichi Cousin and Weeks, still always using my B6 Slims… Cafe Notes or right now I’m in Midori. Now that I’m retired, all I really need is my Weeks and B6 Slim, but darned it I don’t keep trying the size a6 because its so cute. But I never stick to that size.! Oh and I also have Travelers Co.! I may have retired from work, however I still need & love my journaling, paper, fountain pens, inks, water color …. It’s Who I Am.! 💖💖💖💖 I have you to thank for a large part of that. Jesus and Journaling.!! 🙏💖 You Blessed me all those years ago, I can’t thank you enough.!!! 💖💖

I just purchased the N1 from Sterling Ink. I have never purchased from Sterling Ink. I’ve heard of her, but I never owned one of her planners until very recently. I just ordered it day before yesterday so I’ll have it for Christmas, I will be doing an unboxing and how I’ll be using the planner. But I’m older, I’m 57, and I think most of us began planning with the old daytime planners back in the 80s and 90s. I think one of the problems that people have today is there are way too many choices. it’s difficult enough to commit to the planner and using it every day but then with all these different sizes, I feel it’s just exacerbates the whole planning process. For my planner I chose the TN size because I needed something a little bit bigger than the personal but not as big as anA5. But when we get into a B6, a B6 slim, you know all these different variants, I get overwhelmed. Feel like most of us want to have something that fits our writing style, can get our information in, and still look pretty and inspirational, but I get caught up in the choices. Anyone else ever had that?

I love the b6 slim as well but I use the vertical. So for 2024 I got the standard size and had staples cut the bottom part of it off and it was a perfect b6 slim. I was happy when she came out with the b6 slim for next year. I did add in my spiritual notebook into my planner to use these extra pages.

Maybe if your main issue is concern over having not enough or way too many leftover pages, you could try dividing up your book into months (using little tabs?) and then divide each tab into 4 so then you have a chunk of pages for each week that you are free to fill? Or working out what your ideal number of pages per week might be and choosing a book with that number of pages. Might be sort of like writing up a budget, it gives you the freedom of knowing how much you can spend. With dividing up however many pages you want to use each week, it gives you that freedom of knowing that you'll have enough AND that you'll use up the book :)

I like the darker lines but I also had sooo many pages left at the end of the year. I started tearing them out writing letters on the extra pages-it is such nice fountain paper.

Also, i would rather have TOO many pages left at the end of the year (i can always go back in and add notes or commonplace in it) than not have enough... ALSO, i adore your idea of putting photos in the goal area.... I use a couple planners each year and one is for memory keeping and journaling so i wouldnt use the goals pages in that one and would love a picture in each space of my favorites for the year. Such a good idea!!

The struggle I had this year was I need a planner that can fit my home management, budget , my personal stuff, my kids stuff. But it needs to be portable and act as a journal. I picked the week’s size this year and hopefully I can fit it all. I feel like a crazy person. 😂

I'm B6Slim all the way. I have a B6 TN that I occasionally use. I have several (ahem....) A6 TNs and a few Pocket and Passport TNs, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the B6Slim. But I pretty much make my own inserts. My calendar pages are a comedy of errors b/c I always forget how to print on the reverse side. But it's Tomoe River paper, so I'm gonna use it, doggonit!!! I have no idea how I missed your Up from the Ashes video 🤔
