I take my time in the evening after everyone has settled for the night. I am listening to the Bible through in a year. I like the calming voice and following along. I can take time to reflect on the verses without someone needing me.

If you do your routine at night, think of it as being EXTRA ahead of the next day instead of behind! Haha! Same with Bible- if study works better at night, just spend 5 minutes in the morning refreshing what you studied while you brush your teeth or something.

Thank you for sharing this. You’ve really inspired me to put a routine together that works for me rather than one motivated by shame - doing the things someone else has said I should be doing. This was a hopeful, joyful message I really need to hear to move forward in a healthier way.

I've been a long time sub of yours. We are at the same stages of life (age, grown kids, hobbies, ADHD, etc.) this is why I think I have continued to follow your journey. I needed this video! I've fallen out of the habit of "morning" journaling. I think I have been blaming this ungrounded feeling on everything except for giving up journaling. Thank you for this video! Please consider releasing this worksheet as a digital download. Even as an A6 or Journal card, I really resonate with these questions.

Thank you so much for sharing! It's easy to let go of these healthy habits but I know you'll feel better when you start it up again. I am going to try to get that page up on my Etsy soon. Thanks so much for watching! xoxo

We listened to a few of Caroline Leaf's seminars back in 2015, I wanna say, before Switch on Your Brain came out....which we both then read and it really revolutionized our lives! It is the nuts and bolts and practical mechanics of how to renew your mind!

I have four homeschooled kid from 4-14 So my morning routine is at 5am. I make a cup of coffee and then head to the basement to lift weights. Then I walk a Mile on the treadmill while I read for 20 min. Then I go back up and have my time w Jesus and journal and plan my day as my kids are rising. One day it won’t have to be quite so early but I do treasure my quiet a.m. hours.

For the snoring husband... my husband got a CPAP last July and I have never slept better in our 15 years together. I know it's an expense and it may not be within your budget. But he has so much more energy and I can sleep! Just wanted to throw that out there!
@AliBrownie27 күн бұрын
I have asked him repeatedly to go get a sleep study. It would be paid for by the VA. He just doesn't want to wear a CPAP even though it would give him so much better quality of sleep. It's one of those things where they have to choose and I have to let go and not lose joy over things I can't control. So I just sent in my ear impressions from an audiologist for custom molded sleeping ear plugs. I think that will help me ALOT! :)

Love your videos! Two quick questions, 1. did you decide on the SI Weeks for next year? 2. How many pages does your current weeks planner have ?
@AliBrownie27 күн бұрын
Thank you! I am going to be in a B6Slim for 2025. I'm selling the week in my next destash video. The weeks I have been using for 2024 has 369 grid pages in the back. So it's over 500 pages. The 'chunky monkey' version. 🥰

I highly recommend the Hale Sleep Aid combined with mouth taping to help with the snoring and mouth breathing!
@AliBrownie27 күн бұрын
I do mouth tape for myself. My husband's issue is different and the nose things do not help him. We tried so many kinds. He needs the device that pulls your lower jaw forward. We purchased SnoreRx and he stopped snoring, but it hurt his jaw so bad that I couldn't continue wearing it. So I just sent in my ear impressions to a lab to have custom sleep ear plugs made for me. I'm desperate! haha!

I am a morning person. I need to start my day welcoming God, Jesus and Holy Spirit in my day. I have to make them the center of it and prayer. I’ve started a chronological Bible study with Heart Dive on YT in a year. It’s daily but I have found I am a deep diver. Words just come alive. It’s also a place where I add color to my pages and note pegs have colors. I need to rebind it, Ha! Journaling is another outlet. I got in a funk with Take a Note. Didn’t like but stuck with it. I’m in a season of change. Rambling. 😊 ❤ You’re an inspiration to me. 🕊️

@AliBrownie27 күн бұрын
I got it on EvangelicalBible.com They don't have this color anymore but they do have a deep purple: evangelicalbible.com/product/schuyler-personal-size-quentel-nasb-dark-purple-goatskin-bible/ They are an investment but this is the first Bible that I have not been able to wear out the binding. I read out of it almost every day and it is made SO WELL!
