Brandi, can you recommend a good flat iron for home use? Ionic and ceramic plates, maybe? Something that won't fry our curls with occasional use but will get natural (and gray) hair silky and straight.

My favorite type of irons to press hair are titanium; but this isn’t the safest option for home use. I normally only recommend these for professionals because the heat is very aggressive and not safe for everyday use. H2Pro or @eapheat are really good brands for home use! Their ceramic irons are awesome! A good size to begin with are 1/2 inch (for hard to reach places and roots) and a 1inch iron for pressing and styling. Hope this helps! 🙏🏾💕
