When I was a kid I had the privilege of being with a very old family. I learned to listen to the stories and when you said you were 20 yrs younger than most of your meet up it made me love your vids more. Being a friend to the elders is like being close to people heading to heaven. A young person close to them is more like a sister than a child (Native American Culture). You are blessed ( they take with them your praise!)

The Creosote bush is my favorite smell from growing up in Arizona. Larrea tridentata, called creosote bush, greasewood, and chaparral is a medicinal herb. In Sonora, it is more commonly called hediondilla; Spanish hediondo = "smelly". It is a flowering plant in the family Zygophyllaceae. The specific name tridentata refers to its three-toothed leaves. When it rains the oils are brought out and carried with the wind. Hence why you can "smell the rain coming" in the southwest. I still smell like campfire, asmongold would be proud of my non shower day count. I made it back south and got to cook today, great day. Thanks for the video and the meet up!

I loved making the trip out here to meet u. I knew I had to go n do this with my new to me older van, (hank the tank) I still wanna show you him..he's the real reason I got out here.😂 I'm loving all the events n meetups Im going to b4 its time to head back to Michigan. Im gonna go to Toomestone Az too since u n Brock recommended it n I wanna go to at least 1 national park in Az too b4 I leave. I enjoyed meeting you n Brock n ur mom, so much fun. I've checked out Lake Havasu yesterday n went exploring in Craggy Wash n now Im on blm land in Ca right outside Parker..hopefully laundry n shower will be available out here too. It was my first ever van meet up and van life experience. Yep bar set high! Today is officially 30 days of doing van life full time. Glad you are getting to recharge. Lollipop and Thunder are so happy Wynston loves his greenies.

I can't either, Cindy. I usually avoid them like the plague. But I have felt this connection to Amanda for so long that I made myself escape my safe zone to venture out to meet her. And I am so glad I did. She is everything and more that you see in her videos. One of the warmest and most kind people anywhere - and not just to appear friendly or to gain viewers. There is nothing fake there. She is so 110% genuine. But it isn't just Amanda. Her Mom (What a great surprise!), Brock, and everyone else that was there are fantastic people. I did not meet one single jerk all weekend. And not once, did I feel uncomfortable. Maybe next year, give it a try. I may not know you, but I am pretty sure you'll be glad you if you do.
