Great to see you back! Nova is a chameleon, she changes based on what is needed for the mood of the song. She can go from rap rap to breaking your heart to anything in between. Nova signed with a label back when she was a teenager, 18 I think, and has only now gotten out of the last of the legal entanglements from that. This is her first solo, fully independent release. Glad to see you back, hope your doing well now, yeah people can be such sh1ts. This was a personal one for Nova, she's been wanting to write this for years and finally did two years ago but still didn't know if she'd ever release it, and then there was a lot of questions about her verse in Chrome with Tom and Adam. From 15-18 she was in group homes or sleeping in mall stairwells avoiding security. Tom and Nova have both been thru it but are stronger together against the world. Great reaction Sp00ky! Tom made the beat, produced it & actually shot Nova's parts in the video. Nova's last line in "Chrome" "From group homes to infamy FU" plays right into this song. This is the REAL story of Nova growing up in group homes here in Canada, Nova & her friends went through ALL of the things Nova sang/rapped about in this song. @@michaelc565 Nova doesn't produce herself & is not going to go to someone else to produce her music when she lives with the biggest Independent Artist out, who's also an incredible producer & is the love of her life. Common sense tells that. Tom produced her last Album Scared of Heights as well. Just because she didn't credit anyone on this video doesn't mean anything. Tom didn't credit his sister Jenna for shooting her first ever music video "Chrome" either. If you watched Nova's livestreams she does credit Tom for shooting her parts of the video etc...Everything those 2 do are done IN house, IN Tom's studio. Tom produces every Album he's been on including ALL collab's. The only thing Nova has put out while they were together was her Album & a few other singles. 👍🏻

Welcome back! Great reaction! A lot of times, the best music (or best comedy) comes from a place of pain, and allowing yourself to feel the feels and let them flow into the art, and hopefully working through some stuff in the process helps your mental health. I feel like this is one of those songs for Nova. I highly suggest reacting to one of Nova’s older songs, “Did Your Best”. (Grab some tissues first.) It’s another of Nova’s raw emotions coming out as art.

So glad your move went well. My wife and I are going to be empty nesters next June and are currently splitting our time with most in MN and a little in TX. Wish could share with the my ex that passed like 3 years ago, she was r*ped by 2 guys like 14 years ago... major issues after, heroin ect... randomly got ahold of me like 5 years ago...real long story but yeah, we shared music and whatnot, introduced me to NF...there are many girl I think of with this, I'm kinda the protector and like counselor in my somewhat small town, which really really really pissed me off she wouldn't give me any details on how they looked or anything lmao which thank her for now because I'd be sitting in prison most likely, like plenty of places to hide a body but nah I would have found out that day and wouldn't have been stealth about at all...like this I can relate with some lyrics personally but all the females ik that went through shit... definitely hits ...

I love Nova and Tom, but their descriptions of hard living and hard growing up makes me feel like their lives were so easy. I was shot with shotguns at least 50 times by time I was 15 not to mention having to setup traps to catch quail and pidgeons for dinner while my dad was spending a whole a paycheck to buy 1-2 sheets of plywood and few 2x4's to finish our house while there was 4-6 ft of snow outside and helping my dad look through metal scrap bins for enough metal the right size to build us a fireplace to heat the place. Then after that was all done we had to spend a year worrying that he was going to get sent to war in Iraq. I feel like the US forgot what fighting to live means because everybody got so soft.
