Ok, sooooo, I have an idea. (Long-ass text warning) So basically, I do like the idea of Neru being the hypnotist (mesmerizer), but what if Haku was also in on it? Ok, hear me out: What if the "Mesmerizer Project" as I'll put it was originally a way for Neru to bring the Triple Baka Squad back together, which slowly turned into Neru's jealously-filled, mentally-detiorated mind to basically control Miku and Teto to make herself known again w/Haku leaving entirely? "But where does Haku fit into this?" With that being said, I like the idea that Neru wanted Haku to be a part of this due to A) All four of them could reunite, B) Neru probably mentioned a whole deal about Haku "being known again" or C) Maybe Neru just kinda roped Haku into this, probably without a rhyme or reason behind it (though, I honestly think she wouldn't be so gung-ho about it, she was probably a middleman in this scheme). But maybe overtime (over the course of Mesmerizer or an otherwise number of time), Neru grew increasingly more jealous (as another commenter pointed out) of Miku and Teto's fame, so maybe when Haku realized that this whole thing was basically a set-up that was essentially mind-fucking her two friends, maybe Haku just quit entirely, renouncing anything having to do with this, leaving Neru (who was probably already pretty damn mentally detiorated at this point) to continue on with the "Mesmerizer Project" by herself, but now fully bent on control... *whatever it takes*...
